Editing to respond to the owners attempt a double speak : this isn't about the bowl size. This is about the size of the food being literally 1/4 or 1/5 of the bowl. I have never received such an underfilled bowl and the bowl itself is small. This was the least amount of food I've ever received from any pho place anywhere and I've also ordered from you dozens of times before. Your shady response confirms I will never purchase from your again.
Pre update: I've ordered here regularly for quite some time. Portions were always smaller but quality was decent.
Today I received the Smallest bowl of pho I ever received in my life in any of the places I've eaten it: Asia, Europe, Canada, or California. And we paid for large! This was smaller than any small pho I've ever gotten.
Low quality broth: they used virtually no meat and it tastes heavily of onions and anise. Additionally, it's extremely salty to cover the lack of meat broth-- and I'm someone who loves salt.
Absolutely not worth the price.
All the bowls we purchased were this small so it wasn't a mistake. Very little ingredients. I usually order half the noodles but didn't bother this time as j was hungry. Yet with the regular portion there were so few noodles here I actually wanted more. I literally had 3 mouthfuls and I have a small mouth.
Won't return. I'm sorry if you need to repay your cerb loan but cheating customers isn't the way forward for...

I especially recomend the Phὀ Tái Nam Gân ...wow...Everything is fresh and of the best quality, you cannot go wrong. Also from the Spring and Imperial rolls to the the various sauces for the main dishes like Vietnamese style General Tao and Duck With Five Spices Sauce or their Beef Sauteed With Lemongrass And Hot Spices and so much more , everything is done in House. Affordable and fast, with great curteoous service. Its our go to place for a large hot bowl of comfort food or a Spicy plate of awesomeness created by Mr Luu and his Mom, Mrs Luu, a force to be reckonned with in the kitchen. Shout out to Kenny too, the awesome waiter always there with a smile and his speedy curteous service. Go, try it, you will love the place. Another plus is its location in the heart of one of the coolest neighborhoods in Montreal with plenty of shops and bars to enjoy an authentic...
Read moreThe first thing I noticed was the smell. Like a dirty rag that's sat on the counter for a few days (you know that nasty bacteria smell they get?), except it's hanging on the intake of the air conditioner.
The service, however, was impeccable. Came with a smile, workers were at least bilingual english/french, and was fast.
The spring rolls were alright, but the sauce wasn't exactly what I was looking for (it was some kind of nutty-flavored goop). There also wasn't any seasoning inside the rolls.
The pho was horribly underseasoned, but what do you expect in the hipster vegan part of town? Thankfully they have salt shakers everywhere. It would have undoubtedly benefited from the umami present in MSG, though. It also didn't come with any bok choy stalks and the tendon pieces were humongous chewy bits rather than the creamy goodness they usually are.
It's okay if some pho cravings have been striking you for the past month, as they did me (and you happen to be in the neighborhood), but Pho Hao in Cote-des-Neiges is...
