Shawarma Royal — Restaurant in Montreal

👎🏽Im attaching my review from last year! What a freaking difference... I'm really disappointed from this place!

It looks like the administration has changed, but is the worst pita I've ever tried! OMG. ✅ Look the potatoes in the photos: "so elegant". They were extra fried, or fried many times. They were really hard and with lot of oil. ✅ Meat on potatoes didn't have the taste than before! What a change! ✅ There were a lady and a man working. The guy was not respecting the rules from the government and he was not using his mask.

I just tried the pita... nothing else. So, this is my edited review for my last visited, and compare my experience now from the one before (screen in photos), and also check what a beautiful difference pitas looks before and now.

So...

This is actually one of the worst places I’ve ever been to. The guy working was so rude he didn’t even greet me and gave me a dirty look, took like twenty minutes to make two sandwiches even though I was the only person there he was watching TV while making our food. It was very dirty in there and he was NOT wearing a hair net. He put some sauces that I didn’t ask for and then put it in a bag and the bag was so greasy it was dripping from underneath. The chicken was dry and stale and felt like it was 4 weeks old I couldn’t even finish it and I’ve never had that experience before. DONT GO HERE * Either do everyone else a favour and shut down or fix your food and your attitude. Thanks :). Oh and also I felt really sick after this is poison...

I didnt even get to try the food because this restauraunt decided to accept my doordash order an hour before they closed,wait 45 mins,and then cancel my order because it was almost closing time. This happened on April 3rd 2023. I'd like to hope whichever employee did this (obviously on purpose as why would you wait till 15 mins before closing to decide to cancel) is at the very least spoken to. This resulted in me losing 45$ for awhile because now thanks to Doordash refund,my bank will be holding the money for 10 days. So thanks for nothing,I'd highly recommend not trusting this place with delivery/doordash. They couldve easily not accepted the order (of only 2 plates) if it was too late,or just dont stay on doordash that late if its...
