Patisserie Dolci Piu has been our go-to spot for the longest time, and it remains one of the absolute best patisseries in Montreal. Every time we visit, we're reminded why we keep returning—this place never disappoints!

For me, it's all about the cannolis. They are hands down some of the best I've ever had—perfectly crisp shells filled with creamy, flavorful ricotta filling that’s just the right amount of sweet. But while the cannolis are my usual choice, I’ve also tried their cakes, pastries, and coffee, and everything is just top-notch. Each dessert is made with high-quality ingredients and a level of craftsmanship that sets Dolci Piu apart from the rest. Their cakes, whether for a special occasion or just a casual treat, are rich, beautifully designed, and absolutely delicious.

Beyond the sweets, they also serve sandwiches, making it a great place to stop by for a quick bite. The balance of flavors in their sandwiches, along with fresh ingredients, makes them just as good as their pastries.

The atmosphere at Dolci Piu is another reason we love it. The place is always clean, well-organized, and inviting. Whether you're grabbing something to go or sitting down for a coffee and pastry, the experience is always pleasant. The staff is incredibly friendly and professional, always greeting customers with a smile and making sure everyone is taken care of.

My kids have also developed a love for Dolci Piu—every time I’m in Montreal, they expect me to bring back cannolis from there. It’s become a little family tradition, and I wouldn’t have it any other way.

Title: Disappointing Experience at Dolci Piu

I had high hopes for Dolci Piu on Decarie Boulevard, especially after hearing good things about their cakes. Unfortunately, my experience has been a letdown for the second consecutive year.

Despite providing all the necessary information for my order, the employees struggled to locate my cake when I arrived to pick it up. It was incredibly frustrating to stand there while they searched, especially after I had made a significant purchase of $225 for a cake that was only 8 inches in diameter and 6 inches high. It left me wondering about the efficiency of their order management system.

To add to the disappointment, there is no designated parking for picking up orders, which made the entire experience even more inconvenient. It felt like there was a lack of concern for customer orders and satisfaction, especially given the amount paid.

I really wanted to love this bakery, but poor service and disorganization have left me hesitant to return. I hope they can improve their processes in the future, as a great cake deserves a great experience.

Note to the owners response: First of all it was not a few minutes which led to receiving a ticket after waiting for more than 30 minutes. All info given to cashier was as per the order information , it was just disorganised and the cashier said the owner was not there so he will try to contact and resolve the issue.What kind of management system depended on the owner always being there in both of my distasteful...

Dolci Piu is absolutely incredible! I brought them a Pinterest picture of a cake, and they replicated it with absolute perfection — down to every detail. Not only did it look stunning, but it was also the most delicious cake I’ve ever eaten. Everyone at our event loved it! The tuxedo cake inside was outstanding.

What truly made the experience five-star, though, was the service. Sabrina was amazing from start to finish — responsive, helpful, and full of great suggestions. She really went above and beyond to make sure everything was perfect.

A huge thank you to Sabrina and the Dolci Piu team for making our engagement event so special and for creating a cake that became the star of the dessert table. I would definitely and highly recommend this bakery!
