Shushu is my go-to takeout sushi. All their ingredients are noticeably much fresher and tastier than other nearby places and they often run promotions on ubereats and such. Their menu is extensive and everything is reasonably priced for the quality you get. I recommend their salmon hosomaki as well as their mini kamikaze maki. Their dragon eye roll is quite nice as well if deep fried sushi rolls are your thing. their nigiri is good but I do wish the slices of fish were a bit larger.

The dine-in experience is only ok, decorations are present but somewhat cheesy/directionless and it seems like they cut corners on their dining room as everything there seems a bit cheap. I don't really like the music they put on and there has been times where I could hear 2 different songs from the dining room speakers and the kitchen. That being said, the fact that they even have seating and table service is better than what lots of other primarily takeout sushi restaurants have and they even have outdoor seating in the summer.

I like that they try to keep their packaging as environmentally friendly as possible. Paper boxes are classier than...

Friendly service and nice place with a big open glassless 'window' to sit by, too. However, a friend and I ordered the ShuShu Poke Bowls (salmon, tuna, shrimp tempura). We were served instead the chicken katsu poke bowl. The server repeated "shushu bowl" to us when he took our order AND when he served the torikatsu to us, so we thought maybe we'd misread the menu and decided to just eat the food we'd been served. (A double-check of the menu later showed this wasn't the case). The cutlet itself was fine, and the greens fresh, but unfortunately the bowl was SWIMMING in mayonnaise, to the point where my friend and I couldn't finish most of our greens because they were congealed together with the mayonnaise. The ratio of rice to vegetables (lots of rice) was a little surprising too. I realized after I'd left that I ended up being charged for the ShuShu bowl ($4 more), too. I want to like this place and will give it another try but my first experience was...

Horrible chicken! I’ve been a regular customer of this restaurant since their opening… on a few recent occasions, it seemed that the quality was lacking…. but we kept encouraging this local business… until today! We ordered two Chicken Katsu Poke for lunch today and they were horrible!!! I don’t know if the chicken was old or frozen for months, but it was dry and disgusting to eat. The cook that put this meat in the bowls should be fired on the spot. Since it was takeout and we didn’t notice it before we got back to the office (even visually, it was clear that the chicken had something wrong), we didn’t not get a chance to tell them and get our money back… but unfortunately, they just lost two good...

Delicious poke and sushis. Wonderful product, the sashimi and other seafood products were so fresh! Scallops were melting in the mouth. Never tasted eel like this either, almost creamy texture. The price were really fair, similar to others. The service was really good. Yogurt flavor drinks available, might test it next time. We liked also the wall art. Not very crowded, it was surprising for the freshness of the products.

I can not lie, I am the fan of Shushu. I was there with my love last week since they just open near my place. So many choice of Sushi that every one can happy. I tried Dragon Eye, West Coast, Unagi and Hawaii. It's hard to say which one is the best, awwww, I love them all, fresh and yummy, will be back soon. ❤️
