Restaurant B&M — Restaurant in Montreal

Ok so when i was a kid growing up in MTL there was a B&M in NDG that was a bit of a dive…but great pizza!! So when we went to this B&M in Mile End today i was blown away by the Food, the Service, the Cleanliness and the sweet Atmosphere💫it may not look like much from the street, but go inside!! We were greeted by warm smiling faces and a sharp simple interior that was sparkling clean. The servers were helpful and polite…and even the cooks in the open kitchen said hello and made us feel welcome💫 We ate the yummy breakfast sandwich (add avocado…its💣amazing) and also the crepes with greek yogurt & dark cherries🍒it was all sensational…hot, quick and delicious!! BTW the crepes themselves were best I have ever had…period🥞 One tiny complaint…don’t charge me 3.00 for avocado when i asked for no bacon, and there was no deduction!😵‍💫fair is fair. Customer experience was absolutely horrible. Food was good tasting. If you have any special request, rethink about going here. The instructions "no fruit at this table" seems too challenging for the server(Manny) or cooks. Even asking for water needed to be requested 3 times, finally asking the bus boy resolved this situation. When, the first order was returned, I overheard the server say "customer never made any special request" Maybe my expectations are too high? Once the food did arrive, yes it was tasty. Atmosphere is pleasant and bright. Unfortunately I cannot recommend this place, and I will make sure my hotel that suggested this location rethink its recommendation.

So if you have no specific or special requests, definitely give this...

Walked in and was immediately greeted by a friendly waitress. She cleared a spot for us and seated us. We waited 15 ~minutes to be served. We were starting to talk about not being served and so we suspect the waiter overheard.

We asked for water and a pizza to split. The pizza showed up by another guy who gave us two plates. We had to interrupt our waiter to ask for more water. The pizza and price were average. We asked for our bill and the waiter gave us someone else's (3x our price). We asked for our actual bill and he gave it to us. Didn't feel as if the experience was worth tipping and was immediately questioned.

Overall, wouldn't go out of my way to come back. Some of the staff were nice but this waiter ruined the...
