Comment to owner & corporate: there needs to be a means of cancelling or following up btwn store & online ordering. online ordering was down for this store on and off and I came in to pick it up (it goes through, then an email will come after the fact that it had an issue (not bank). It happened to more than me. Once it just disnt communicate it. two days ago I ordered 3 subs online to have as a late supper and lunch the next day. I noted to keep the vegetables & sauces separate from remaining so it would keep in fridge. I also go to the one on rue de Verdun if it’s later as it closes at 1am. I had ordered from this one, but it showed a delivery fee and I had to pick it up. I just confirmed and it switched to this location without my noticing. when I went to go pick them up, I assumed that there was an It issue again bc they said they never received anything so it may be down. I just got the one bc c no deals. noon the next day I’m getting my ducks in a row to contest the charge (again), and noticed the location switched. You’d think they would have put it in the fridge given my instructions (which they followed). they threw everything out, without calling me or anything. I go quite regularly, too. they require a signature to ensure the correct person is picking it up, which I couldn’t give. Otherwise they lose the sale and pay a fee from their payment processor for visa contesting it. I explained Iwouks have to do that but they’d make more profit by just remaking the subs. I could have picked up on different occasions if inventory was a concern. I know it’s the owner’s policy, but I was hoping they’d see this and try to make it right before I contest. I’ve had 2 other issues here, and I always tip $1-2. The girl from out east is a sweetheart though, she’s gone above and beyond.
If nothing else, pls speak to the manager and permit her to use her judgement. Or head office, pls do something to give them a # to call me or send an automated follow up to my email if it isn’t picked up.

It just sucks, I came to this one more often because of the Newfie girl but the other one has more consistent ingredients and fidelity to instructions.

They started cancelling my orders (I.e. the owner told his staff to lie about being able to see / manage app orders).
I had to contest w rbc 4 times cuz of these guys having “tech issues” 3 of the 4 times. 4th time, they threw it out instead of putting it in the fridge and told me to deal my bank.
Again today, $30, they said “we won’t give u tomatoes or peppers, and u CANNOT HAVE SO MUCH SAUCE PER SUB!”
Took my money, then cancelled it again. I’ve spoken to some whistle blowers… the owner is telling them to do this to steal from head office and the public who trust them…
Police and I are searching owner and his family via entreprises du Qc. We’re close ppl… rbc is begging to help stop this owner. Pis j’ai fais des plaintes pour la loi 101, j’peux pas avoir de l’aide en AN ou en FR! Au secour!!!
I have proof for 4 orders. PLEASSSSSSE, help us! Owners can’t keep getting away w this… the workers don’t have a choice but to obey the owner....

I have extremely limited time tonight, so to save time I placed an order on SkipTheDishes so I could have food coming while I do things, and I'd have time to eat before plans later. Then I notice a notification: "Order cancelled". WHAT? I didn't cancel it, what kind of place arbitrarily cancels out of nowhere? I had to contact support, the answer: "They were out of item". ITEM? WHAT KIND OF UNPROFESSIONAL NONSENSE IS THIS? What were they even out of? Seems like they didn't even have the decency to tell Skip Support, never mind the proper protocol of telling me! If you're out of something, CONTACT ME! ASK me what I want to do! Who says that one item gone means I want to cancel the entire order? Honestly, this current pandemic of "In case of substitution do whatever you want" nonsense has made everyone's brains bleed out of their ears, CONSULT WITH THE CUSTOMER! It's never okay to decide for the customer what the customer wants! I picked this location because it's the closest, it should be fastest, which is what I need, even Skip listed them second choice, no wonder! Terrible service, DO NOT patronize this place, they're unprofessional. This was incredibly unacceptable. Imagine going to this place, placing your order, and they just let you wait there while they don't bother making your food. What kind of business model is that? I had to order from another location, farther AND about $5 more expensive somehow, and now I'm running late due to this nonsense. Orders are said to be ready in 15 minutes. I order 30-45 mins in advance before lunch to give them time to prepare the sandwiches for 5 people.
Every time I get there to pick up my meal, the older woman Trudy is very disrespectful, the sandwiches are never done, and I have to wait an additional 15-20 mins for them to get made while she’s passing 8 walk-in clients in front of me.
Once we get our meals, they’re never done correctly, always missing ingredients, especially the avocado and/or bacon which I pay extra for.
Trudy then has the nerve to complain that I don’t tip her enough. I usually leave her $5.00, which to me seems fair since I have to wait 45 mins for a sandwich that wasn’t made as indicated in my order. I was also served by another younger woman that works with Trudy, that told me if I’m not happy, to go somewhere else. (My lunch break is 30 minutes, and I would simply like them to be ready when I arrive, the purpose of ordering way in advance).
What really made me lose all my respect for this restaurant was the last time I placed a mobile order, I had placed an order for 2 sandwiches, and they canceled the order on their end and refused it. Once I was in the restaurant she refused to make it infront of me, she said she has a problem with her system, meanwhile there’s a bunch of people sitting down eating in the restaurant.
