Coming here is always a treat - the service and the food are just always so good every time we go. The portions are really good for the price and they really put a lot of fresh ingredients into the dishes. I always get the hoedupbap (which I find really hard to find in the area) and the Udon, which has fresh seafood like mussels, clams, and shrimp and a really good broth. The tempura and rainbow maki are also super good and jam packed with lots of good stuff. My boyfriend and I go crazy for the food here! Not to mention, this place is so conveniently close to McGill. Its hard to find a sushi restaurant where things are made fresh, have good portion sizes, and you are met with wonderful service. The people who own this place and work here are some of the sweetest people and we always feel super welcome. As a Korean who misses the community she grew up with, it's such a wonderful taste of home. This will always be my favorite place to go for sushi. 너무 감사합니다! :)

Hidden gem for sushi to go or made on the spot. We were greeted courteously and offered miso soup free of charge. Presentation was stellar - way better than one would expect for lunch - and service was fast. No complaints about the sushi variety on the plate. Everything tasted fresh and flavourful, with much better (!!) quality than we were expecting for the affordable price. If I worked nearby, I would go there regularly. The place is very clean, spotless in fact, and inviting. I highly recommend you try it. If you do not like sushi, they also make udon and poke bowls. It is a family business and I commend the care with which it is operated, it really shows.

Sashimi doesn’t look like nice sashimi cuts. It’s not even a uniform size and it’s not very tempting to try. Just because of the cut and size and the texture of the tuna and salmon. I put it in my mouth and its disgusting taste and texture! See it in the photo for yourself. I paid it $27 for this. Totally not worth it.(I correct: 25$!) I asked for takeout , and a lady brought me the box of sushi with chopsticks and soy sauce without any box or paper bag to carry in. I had to go and ask for one. Otherwise, I have to carry my sushi in one hand and my sauce and chopsticks in the other. I don’t think the 4.8 they have is a very recent rating of them.
