Overall : highly recommend. Honey lamb was decadent. Almost as good as the service ;) . Just kidding everything was đ„
SERVICE 4 of us came in on a Monday night and stayed until about 21:30. None of us had eaten Tunisian cuisine before. The server described the menu, provided excellent recommendations and was super attentive. Always had water, dishes were collected promptly and the food was delivered timely.
FOOD Appies : got a couple fricasse. Mains : veg couscous, honey lamb, kafteji merguez, and the chicken ojja. Desserts : 2 crÚme brûlés : pistachio and a hazelnut
Presentation was excellent. Portion sizes were great. And the flavours were POP-PING. My mouth did not stop salivating.
I am sad I shared the honey lamb with my friends because it was so good and I wanted to eat it all myself.
The couscous was a nice base for the other dishes, but was the least flavourful of the four dishes. Good, but wouldnât order it alone.
CrĂšme brĂ»le is my favourite dessert and I appreciated their twist on it. Loved that they toasted it in front of us and poured nuts over top. I think it could have been more chilled but was delicious! Slightly heavier than OG CBâs so we could have probably just split 1 instead of 2.
AMBIANCE More traditional sitting options and tables. Lovely and comfortable decor with music that wasnât too loud.
ALSO THEY HAVE BRUNCH - ummm helllllllo. Loveeee that!
Will definitely be coming back here. Thank you for a wonderful...
Read moreNot sure where all these rave reviews came from but they sure did fool me⊠I question the cleanliness of the restaurant. We were the first and only ones at the restaurant and the bathroom was beyond disgusting, the tablecloths were full of crumbs, food flies everywhere. There was no vibe (we were the only ones in the restaurant). The waiter pushed his expensive lemonade on us before we even had a chance to look at the menu (and the price of the lemonade). He was also not very attentive considering we were the only ones. He brought the water bottle, but never any glasses. He never came back to ask if everything was ok. The food was just ok, very expensive for what you get. Seafood gargoulette at 39$ was supposed to come with mussels but there was none and they didnât say anything. At that price, it also came with no sides (some potatoes cooked with the seafood would have been good). The honey lamb was just ok as well, the mashed potatoes that came with it tasted weird. You would think the lamb is cooked with the honey but itâs just added in the end with pistachios. Overall we were very disappointed and would...
Read moreOur first time trying Tunisian cuisine. Nice authentic restaurant. Food was very good. Portions were big. For entrees we had the bricka and the trio of salade or dip. For main we had the lamb gargoulette and seafood gargoulette. It needed a little salt but sauce was flavorful. Service was fast. The menu was hard to understand but you could see pictures of the plates on instagram. Seems to be very family friendly. Menu has many pasta dishes and sandwhiches. Music was a little loud and around 8h30 there was a live singer. He was good. Vibe was festif.but It was too loud for the small restaurant. It would have been fine maybe at a bigger restaurant or the sound system could be rearrange. some tables were too close to the stage area. We felt too crowded, servers had not enough space to circulate. Maybe have less table. Food had unique méditerranean flavors. It has potential.good for groups. Entrées can easily be shared. We would go back to try different dishes. But maybe going earlier in...
