Tevere Express — Restaurant in Montreal

So...Where to start? First and foremost I used to have an emotional attachment to this place. l was a phone girl at the age of 14 at the Tevere Ste-genevieve location where the real pizzaiolos knew what they were doing, straight italians! The whole staff, who worked there for at leaaaast 20 years, alllll left when they tore down this staple and turned it into this horror of a franchise. Anyways, besides the point. Every now and then just to get 1% of the taste i used to enjoy so deeply, i order pizza for my family and its always a hit or miss. The consistancy is never the same. Tonight, we ordered an Extra Large(16") and received a Large(14"). I called and the owner rudely took the phone convo to another level. This man was trying to convince me that he did not know where the mistake was from....obviously the receptionist put 14" on the bill order instead of 16" and says he will make me an extra 10" pizza to make up for the size......anyways after some arguing he finally decided to make the 16" with a touch of attitude! Zerooooo experience in customer service and i dont understand how hes still the owner and giving, what used to be such a great pizza place, such a bad rep! Never again! Moving on! RiP...

Although the pasta itself was average, the sauces were amazing. They had strong flavours and coated the pasta well. They weren't overwhelmingly salty nor watery. Each one has distinct and strong flavours which went well also with the bread that came with the pasta. The bread itself however was a bit tough on the outside. The inside was fluffy and a bit chewy which wasn't too bad. I really enjoyed how they presented the salad, having each ingredient separated. Although it doesn't look that great, it still makes me happy for some reason. The vinaigrette that accompanied the salad was also great. It tied up the ingredients very well and made the whole salad tasty. The wings and fries on the other hand were very basic. They didn't taste anything, a bit plain and bland, which made me wonder why it wasn't served with any sauces. The best part is that the food here is not expensive if we compare to a lot of other restaurants. For only 13-14$, you get to pick from so vary variations of pasta and sauces which all comes with bread. The portions are very generous for the price they charge. It was an overall great experience and I definitely look forward to trying more types of...

Extremely disappointed !! Placed an order on a Saturday, early afternoon, for a couple of pizzas. Lady over the phone had a monotonic voice, kinda rude...someone that did not want to be there is seems. Placed my order at 12h38 according to my phone. My wife called at 13h45 and was told pizzas are on their way. I called at 14h00 and got the same lady who again, was not pleasant over the phone; I asked if it normal to wait 1 hour and a half for the delivery and she corrected me saying it was 1 hour and 17 min and pizzas were on their way !!! No apology, no sorry sir, no nothing. Pizzas got here at 14h05, not hot. Because of the service I received, because of the person over the phone with her wonderful customer service skills, it is the very last time I ever order anything from...
