Tim Hortons — Restaurant in Montreal

Let me preface by saying I’d leave a 0.5 star review if I could. This has to be by far the worst tim hortons in the area. They’ve always been slow, lacked coordination and performed terribly. But today was the last straw. I work in the mall for context and have had multiple experiences similar to the following one. Starting work at 9, I went in the morning at 8:45 today and ordered two iced coffees and two food items. After taking my order the worker comes to me to let me know that they need 4 more minutes to cook the eggs. I let them know that’s fine and continue waiting. 5 minutes pass then 7 and I ask where the eggs are and the worker tells me not to worry and that they’re making them. I wait patiently and after 10 minutes of waiting they hand me the first food item I ordered. I say thank you expecting the rest of the order, but nothing. So then I ask for the rest and the three workers look at themselves puzzled and say they forgot about the other items. They then speed to finish the order. And hand me my full order 15 minutes later. Before moving away to California, Dunkin Donuts chain stores were much more popular than Tim Hortons. A decade later, things have changed - though Dunkin Donuts still around, Tim Hortons is EVERYWHERE! From the moment I got out of Pierre Elliott Trudeau International Airport (YUL), I needed to get my hands on a TH coffee & a Beignet au Pommes, that tells me I'm home again!

Thankfully, there's also a Tim Hortons inside Place Vertu which is very close to my mom's & my childhood's home. While visiting, I'd get up every morning, take a small stroll towards Place Vertu and get my morning jolt - it's life's small enjoyment; it means I'm back home on 🇨🇦Canadian 🇨🇦soils with family & childhood memories. People, Do NOT GO HERe! Huge line-up, 2 inexperienced and visibly careless guys working who TAKE THEIR TIME in an exagerated way. Comes my turn, I was there to get a soup - which IS on the menu at the top. He says we don't have. I ask if he has sandwiches then: NO (very dry reply too). I ask of that's always the case or just today they ran out? He gives me a dirty look, pauses and says: we don't have. I stood 30 mins in line with a screaming baby, waiting to feed him, and they have the audacity to speak to me so poorly as if I am even in the wrong for asking for food? WHY NOT PUT A NOTE?! How many people's time did they squander so carelessly this way I wonder?! They could at least ask the OWNER OF THE BRANCH TO FIND A WAY TO NOTIFY PEOPLE to prevent useless line standing!
