We were four guests. We all found the food experience was very uneven and disappointing. The service was excellent, and except for asking the AC to be turned off , since it was a cool evening outside, the atmosphere was fine. The food is another story. Both the salmon tartar, and especially the lamps chops, suffered from lack of taste. Not the overall dish, but the main ingredient could have been anything at all. The lamb chops in a brown sauce, completely got rid of any tase of lamb. We were shocked with what the chef did. Lamb has a distinct taste that shines unless deleted, which was what we found. The sauce was also more of a soup. And at 59$ for three small and unevenly cooked pieces of meat, we were extremely disappointed. The tartare had the same effect, no taste of salmon. So two proteins that are enjoyed for their inherent flavour, were thrown under the bus. The stuffed zucchini flowers were excellent, as were the stuffed figs. The pasta norma was plain and unremarkable. The tomato salad was superb.

We were sad that nothing really lived up to the hype in the introduction to the restaurant. Some things are due to a bad day, but specific decisions - like the smothered and overcooked lamb - tell us that we cannot recommend this restaurant to any of our friends. And we could not see ourselves...

My wife and I just back from a dinner at this great little gem. From the moment we arrived we felt welcomed. The martinis to start excellent and plentiful. Apps very good miso salad fresh and tasty, had the tuna tartare, it was ok but I can see how some would love it. Had good flavour but a bit to creamy for me. The veal was outstanding, nice balsamic sweetness and done to perfection. Highly recommended. We were uncertain on wines ( I couldnt read the menu with my bad eyes) so asked for a recommendation that was excellent, a wine much better than its price. Had a wonderful time with Steve as our waiter and a new waitress who should do very well. We ended the night with a magnificent grape and tiramisu. Excellent all around! Many thanks to the chef and servers for a...

Very disappointed! I heard good things about this resto but I was not impressed with any dish. The salmon tartar was very heavy with black rice under and a bunch of fried greasy zucchini! A tartar is supposed to be light! The salad had a lot of rotten lettus. We pointed it out and they said absolutely nothing. The porcini mushroom risotto was bland yet hard to digest. They say it’s one of their best dishes but it’s the worst risotto I’ve had. The grilled fish was heavy also with a lot of potatoes Brussels sprouts… Nothing special. The lobster pasta was fishy and didn’t taste fresh. Maybe it was canned lobster? Even the dessert wasn’t good! I was in shock!...

Very nice authentic little Italian restaurant and good service. Great zucchini flowers(fiori di zucca). The dessert was very nice and light to finish. In the photos The zucchini flowers(fiori di zucca), pasta with boar with grated parmesan on top, veal(vitello) stuffed kind of like a cordon bleu with marinated vegetables and rice cake(torta di riso) with confit pineapple coconut ice cream in a custard with a brown slightly sweet sauce aswell.

Cozy Initimate atmosphere. Manon was our server. She was top shelf, old school etiquette. Food had flavour, discovery of new taste combinations was there. Thank you for a great dining experience.
