For years since they built a Wendy's here in LaSalle, I've enjoyed eating at Wendy's bringing with me my family and friends on multiple occasions. However since a few months before covid-19 began, Things have not quite been the same I am not sure if it is under new management or not. But I have had cold and undercooked burgers more times than I'd like. this is unacceptable in any fast food restaurant, and as for the quality and care taken in cooking and preparing your meal I find it sadly lacking on both parts, unlike the service and quality control given in previous years Unfortunately I was there tonight and ordered two baconator burgers and fries, In truth I should have gone to McDonald's restaurant and had a better prepared meal. The bacon on both our burgers was more of a suggestion or an afterthought of bacon that was yet to come but didn't make it to the burger đ it looked like as if it were leftover pieces not even enough to make a full half strip of bacon I will admit however that the service tonight was extremely fast, maybe a bit too fast. Because by the time I had placed my order and drove the fifteen to twenty feet to the window it was already bagged and ready to go in under three minutes or so, I'm surprised that they even had the time to flip over the burger and cook the other side. So a word to the wise for the staff at Wendy's ?.. Take the time it takes to cook and prepare the meat đ€š
I however doubt I will be returning anytime soon unless it is for their frosties I just hope that Wendy's management takes their lack of quality and service more serious and tranes their staff members better before serving others something worse than what I've been served and gets sick enough to warrant a lawsuit The two stars I gave are simply because they do make a fine quality frosty đ„¶ and still make the tastiest chilli đ As for their burgers ? That's a bit more questionable It used to be a good place to take your family out to dine Let's hope the quality and care of...
Read moreEdit, went a second time: Uber eats pickup order. Picked up the order and made the mistake of not opening the sealed bag to see if the order was correct. Got home both combos were wrong. Ordered Baconators but got simple burgers. Will check the order moving forward, even open the burger wrappers.
Went there on a Wednesday around 8PM. Wanted to place a pickup order through Uber eats as I know this place to be on the slower side. Said they werenât currently accepting orders. So I went and placed my order at the drive through. There was only 1 car in front of me. Lady serving me didnât speak French (which is my native language). Big accent in English, a bit hard to understand through the speaker. Pull up to the window, the car in front had already gone. She looks at me and asks: âwhat is your order?â. Lady, there was only one person in front of me, you took my order 30 seconds ago. I shouldnât have to tell you! I know it was her, same accent. After telling her, I paid, got the bag of food and waited for drinks. All along she was there behind the (now closed) window chatting with her colleagues (which is fine if it doesnât impact your work) but she was taking her sweet time to make drinks, clearly she hasnât mastered the art of doing something while talking. After a few minutes, she realized I was still there. Shocked, she asks âAre you missing something!?â. Yes, I was missing my 2 drinks. And of course, she asks âwhat did you order!?â. Before leaving, we pulled aside and checked the bag if all items were there. The food was in a ruff shape. Fries were mostly at the bottom of the bag. Both burgers werenât wrap tight enough and had almost slipped out of their wrapping. I decided not to go back as I didnât want to send anymore time there, just wanted to go home. Food was still edible just pretty banged up. Overall a new low for this place. At least the food...

I normally donât write reviews, but my experience at this Wendyâs was so unsanitary and disrespectful, I have to say something.
I went through the drive-thru and ordered a No. 6 (Spicy Chicken Sandwich with fries), asking specifically for fresh fries. They told me to pull ahead while they made them â no problem. But when I tasted them on my way home, I immediately knew something was wrong.
The fries were dark, greasy, and had a strange texture. As someone who used to work at Wendyâs, I know exactly what they did, they refried old fries instead of making a fresh batch. Itâs a cheap shortcut, and it shows.
I turned around and went inside to speak to a manager. She told me they were âchanging the oil,â and insisted they wouldnât reuse fries. But as I stood there waiting, I watched the employee dump my old fries back into the bin where fresh fries are drained and salted. He also put the used fry container back with the others.
When I moved closer to see what he was doing, the manager actually tried to block my view. I asked why the old fries were put back, and she said, âOh, it was in a different section.â Even if it were a different section, used food should be thrown out. Period. This isnât coming out of their pockets, but they treated it like it was.
And letâs be honest if the oil was really the problem, why were the second fries perfectly fine? no issues at all. That excuse doesn't hold up.
This whole experience was gross, unprofessional, and unacceptable. If this is how they act when a customer is watching, I can only imagine how bad it gets when no oneâs looking.
I wonât be back. Do...
