TacoTime — Restaurant in Moose Jaw

I honestly will never come back and do not recommend anyone to this place. We came to have a nice dinner with our girls and grandchildren. The babies would not eat the chicken, we tasted it and it was awful. When we were finished my man went to warm up the car and I went to use the washroom. There was absolutely no other customers in the entire place. The grandchildren began to fuse which children do. They were not yelling or crying.. only fusing. I could hear a man raising his voice, I came out of the washroom and noticed the girls upset in tears and said the man that works here was yelling at us to keep the kids quiet. I picked up the one toddler and bucked everyone was in the car, I ask my man to come back into taco time and ask why he would treat people like this and an apology. We went in and asked why and an apology, he said there was many other customers complaining. There was absolutely no one in the place. His lies and ignorance were so visible. His face fell to a shade of red. He pointed to the kitchen and again said there were complaints.

We did drive around in search of a place to enjoy a family meal and this is what it turned into. Rude, ignorant and abusive power struggle owner.

My girls did not get to finish their food and left in tears The grandchildren did not like (couldn’t blame them, tasted like cardboard) the chicken strips.

The owner refused to apologizes and continued to excuse his behaviour. Well I don’t care if a baby is crying or yelling.. you do not treat people with hate. We will never come back, I will not recommend And I will definitely share my experiences on all my social medias. My poor girls and grand babies had to experience the ugliness of this horrible man. I wouldn’t even give this place 1 star if I didn’t have to. We stopped in this afternoon at 4:30 and placed our order for our family. Firstly the children’s chicken strips were horrible, our babies wouldn’t eat them. I tried them and they tasted like cardboard. We had to ask for our lids and straws for our drinks. Then after we had finished I went out to the vehicle while the Mrs had to use the bathroom. Our babies were crying and fussy cause they were hungry, at this time Johnny, the owner came and raised his voice telling our girls to keep the babies quiet, that they were making too much noise. We were the only family/patrons in there and him raising his voice to our children to keep the babies from crying upset our other girls to the point they were crying. My partner called me back in to confront Johnny with her and he refused to apologize for his behaviour. For a family dining place I find this more than unacceptable. We refuse to go back to this establishment and warn others with small children so that they may not share this experience. when Taco time opened up here in Moose Jaw like 4 years ago, the place was the bomb, it was always packed, always hot fresh, but like any restaurant it all depends on who the owner/manager hires for staff, and being honest the staff have always been friendly, ready to please, ready to look after any and all customers, on my most recent visit, i found the food to be lacking, the taste just was not there, maybe they have new staff working, maybe a new recipe from head office but the taste just wasn't what i remember, and what's with the way mexi fries are served in a carton box? all it does it keep the steam inside the box which softens the fries up and wreck's them, the old containers worked better as the fries were kept crispy and not greasy. the only reason i keep going back is the taco time staff but the food just is not there at the moment, and the owner/manager seems worn out lack of interest in the business who knows, but i dont see the friendly face anymore , to anyone that reads this if anyone wants real Mexican food and expiernce next to going for a trip to Mexico, go and try out Guac Mexi Grill, the best mexican food...
