If you want fresh made baked goods and an excellent cup of joe, look no further. The hive espresso bar has been elevated to the next level since they brought a lovely baker onto their team. I appreciate when things are done well, and when someone pays extra attention to detail. This is exactly what you can expect from the hive. When you order one of their deli sandwiches you can expect it served on a freshly baked homemade bun, with quality well thought out ingredients like micro greens, and truffle Mayo. There hasn't been a single thing I've ordered that hasn't been absolutely amazing. Breakfast, lunch, coffee, highly recommend stopping by and trying any of their freshly made menu items, or delicious cheesecakes. Their daily online posts that give you a preview of what is on the menu for the day. Can't recommend the hive enough. Only wish they were...

Genuinely one of the best atmospheres for a local coffee shop I have ever visited. Not only does the look of the cafe capture you as soon as you walk in, but the service and the people there are the most welcoming and friendly people I have ever met. When you go there be sure to have a chat with the business owner herself because she was an absolute pleasure to talk to, and as an out of towner she made us feel right at home! Personally I run a small business myself and she truly knows the value of making her customers days and it showed very clearly. As someone who loves and appreciates a good cafe stop, this is the most unforgettable experience I’ve had in any coffee shop and I highly recommend anyone in the area to stop here as your next go to...

Regrets before I even got my coffee. It was weak, and they use a cheap brand of oat milk that cost me $1.50 for my 12oz latte. Outrageous how they can charge that much for one coffee when it is being substituted for something else. With syrup my coffee was over $8! It was a drinkable temp, but not hot. Back home it is standard to have 2 shots of espresso in a 12oz, so 1 shot with cheap quality milk and syrup, I felt like I was drinking warm flavoured milk. I should have just trusted my initial reaction and left before completing my purchase. Don't be fooled by how cute the store looks after you finish your tour at...

Came to The Hive after experiencing the Tunnels of Moose Jaw experience because the tour literally leads you through the cafe and up the stairs (a fun experience to see as a patron in the cafe!) Ordered a drip coffee and it was good. They offered different kinds of hot beverages, along with pastries. Interior was really nice. They had tables where you could sit down and work, as well as incredibly comfortable couches where you could sit down and enjoy your coffee. Ample street parking (paid) outside. Have a patio as well.

The kind of place you instantly feel at home in. The server was instantly welcoming and knew his coffees. I had the Hive Latte and their blueberry scone. The latte was just about near perfect. The scone reminded me of scones from the UK the perfect baking of authenticity. The atmosphere is very welcome and inviting. It's openness is the perfect balance of relaxing and quirky to make you feel like your in a unique place.

Unassuming from the front but worth a stop if you're in the area. Very friendly service, lots of comfortable seating, and an incredibly relaxing ambiance. Tried the carrot cake and it was delicious. Fresh, full of flavour, and not too sweet. Lots of creative cake and dessert options too. My only gripe is a lack of price tags on the food so it's a mystery until you ask.
