This spot is at the back of a convenience store just in case you get confused. I was extremely impressed with the customer service I recieved at this place. This was my first time in Montreal and the owner didn't even know that. She was one of the friendliest and genuine people I've ever met. The food was amazing!!! Every single bite bursting with flavors I can't even describe. It was so good we had to go back the next day! Definitely recommend. We ordered the poisson frit , griot, soup joumou, boulettes, patties and all the entrees come with sides. Best Haitian spot I've had the pleasure of eating at! Me and my friend were so happy and well taken care of!! I didn't get to take pictures of everything but I was able to find one in my gallery of the fried fish! You will not be disappointed!!...

First time at Chez Garha and I’m glad to say I found my Haitian spot🥲 (DONT WALK! RUN!) From the food to the service, everything was so amazing and welcoming. My mom is a Jamaican chef who always side eyes my love for Haitian food😂, but after finally making her try haitian food for the 100th time, she finally gets it!!!! I got her the riz collé avec poulet, and she couldn’t stop expressing how flavorful the chicken was. I had the griot et riz djon djon, mannn it was bussiinnnn! I just wish it was more spicey (I’m a hot sauce loverr)

Garha is, without question, the finest Haitian restaurant I’ve visited in years. The staff are warm, welcoming, and exceptionally generous; genuinely lovely people who make every visit feel special. The food is outstanding: rich, comforting flavors that immediately evoke a sense of home. It’s a 10/10 experience, and we’ve been so moved by it that, as visitors from Brockville, we’ve seriously considered relocating to Montreal just to be closer.
