My colleague and I placed an order for a Christmas lunch at 7am yesterday to give the store more than enough time to prepare a corporate order for 9 people, pickup for the same day at 11:45am. At 11:15am, we received an automated cancellation of the order telling us the order could not be completed. We called the store and were told, "oh we forgot to turn the machine on". No apology, no attempt to resolve their mistake, and not even an offer to rerun the cancelled order so we didn't have to place it again. This meant we would not be picking up our order on time. When we returned to work with our order, we spent 15 mins trying to figure out who ordered what because the minimal writing on the wrapping paper described things we didn't order. Some of the rice bowls were made up as pitas, the salad bowls were rice bowls, etc. EVERY SINGLE ORDER WAS INCORRECT. The bowls and wraps were put together in a sloppy way, and basically everything about the order was careless. Several of my colleagues threw away their order after having a couple bites of their meal, because their meal was either soaked so heavily in sauce it was inedible, or there were ingredients included (i.e. jalapenos) that made the meal too spicy to eat. The order was $160, and it was easily the worst takeout experience any of us had witnessed. All 9 ppl said they would never order from there again. So...
Read moreMy boyfriend and I came in the store today (Sunday) around noon, meaning that the store had only been open for an hour or so. I got the babaganoush and it was terrible. I normally have great experiences with Pita Pit but today was so dissapointing. The container was pulled out of the fridge from underneath the toppings counter and was nearly empty. Unless a ton of people had ordered the babaganoush, it must have been a day or more old. It tasted horrible... actually like rubber. I love babaganoush, and that was not how it should taste. After spending $9 on a pita I threw it out after only having a few bites. It was definitely old and made me sick- I threw up a little while after. I used to love Pita Pit but now.. yeah, not so much. I really hope this isn't how they are dealing with all of their food, as that cannot be food safe. I have no idea how old the babaganoush was, but it was definitely bad. I really hope this was only a one-time mistake but I will not be coming back or reccomending to...
Read moreHad a terrible experience there on Sunday. Went for lunch with my Husband and the boy taking our order must've been new. The older lady working was incredibly rude to him regarding how he was punching in our order. She was the one who made my pita and it was hands down the most disgusting Pita I have ever eaten. She put sooo much sauce in my pita it tasted like I was eating soup. I didn't say anything but I threw half of it in the trash. As we were walking out, she again was saying (in front of us and other customers) to the boy "people are paying $9 for a Pita you have to make sure you give them enough toppings" blah blah, it's fine to give constructive criticism but she said it in a very rude and condescending way. I wish I would've confronted her right then and there and told her how disgusting SHE made my pita. I will...
