I spent all day at a funeral. I order the triple treat box and an extra pizza for my family. We didn't have much at home because of needing to grocery shop but we're dealing with the death of family. We ordered at 6:16 pm online and I have rhe emails to prove it all.
At 6:56 pm I recieved a text saying the order was coming to our door. My Eldest daughter went to the door and there was no food. She checked our neighbors doors there was none at there doors. At 7:04 pm I tried texting the # I got the text from and no answer. At 7:05pm I called "the hut" line on the online order form. I was on the phone for 15 minutes and 8 seconds. The first person transferred me to the nanaimo pizza hut store the order was assigned to and I received no answer. It transferred back to the mainline. The operator then said there was a glitch in the system and the pizza was still on the way. She also gave me the direct number to the nanaimo store my order was suppose to be from. My daughter while I was on the phone kept checking the door and nothing came. After I was done with the operator I told her they said we had 10 minutes to wait as there was a glitch in the system and it hadn't been delivered yet. Afterwards the 10 minutes my daughter then went down to check again. The pizza still had not come. I called the nanaimo store and there was no answer and went to the main switch board. I have been on the phone for 47 minutes since.
I was charged over 93$ dollars. I have no pizzas, I have 5 hungry children of all ages, I have high stress from the funeral and having no other food.
It has now been over 2 hours for this food and resolution.
I am now currently on hold for a supervisor I'm down 93$ and no food and wanting to cry listening to the kids crying and hungry.
Joanne was helping and she said 3 tines she also could not get through to the nanaimo store my order was sent to, and dis not know why this was happening. I was then told I'd have to wait a few days for my $ back and that is unacceptable for a family in this situation. Got your attention? Let me clarify. While repeated mistakes have been made on orders, the key issue I have is that this location has twice taken money and not delivered all items.
The first time they did so knowingly, as a phone call revealed the item was not in stock. The second time the driver was notified immediately, and no item was sent out, no call from the store, and no response from Pizza Huts customer service center; emailed twice.
This is just ridiculous and frankly unbelievable. How a business can do this and yet stay in business is a mystery to me.
Folks, spend your money elsewhere. Look at the other reviews here. It seems pretty clear that they don't care about their customers. If they have this little care about delivering what is paid for, I also question the quality and cleanliness of everything they produce. Lost my business.
