Burger King — Restaurant in Nanaimo

Two of us arrived at the drive through with two coupons. Tried to place the order but we were told they can only honour one coupon per car. Ridiculous! I said we will come in. Upon entry I’ve asked who is in charge of this craziness? Cashier said that the manager is on break. I explained that this doesn’t make sense as perhaps I have an ill family member at home who can’t come in. Another female server immediately said that if I’m going to be rude she’ll refuse to serve me. So I said: I’d like to speak to the manager. She turned around and walked away. Cashier took my order and honoured my coupon. Then my friend approached the cashier but he turned around and consulted with the female server and two other employees weather they should serve my friend or not because it was going to be a second coupon and obviously both of these orders will end up in same car. The female said again that they can only take one coupon. I informed her that my friend is placing another separate order. Once again with attitude the cashier took my friends order but by then my order was ready and sitting on the counter getting cold. Bottom line is if you can’t honour a coupon per customer, don’t send them out. Also, rude attitude is not going to bring more customers. Super inconvenient and annoying service overall. Washrooms are “closed” not out of service but closed while diner is open. The pop station is closed as well. The place is empty and it makes you wonder why. So at the end of the day three minute drive through attempt turned into a ten minute stop only to enter and force our way to use coupons. What a dive! Disgraceful! Couldn’t even wash my hands before eating. “One coupon per car”, what a joke. Has anyone ever picked up an order for a friend before? Don’t go to this Burger King. I haven’t gone there in a long time and now I remember why. Thought the coupons would bring me back as a customer but indeed it had the...

Stopped for a "quick" meal and should have gone to the Arches next door. Cashier took our order, I pointed out there was no price on the meal I had ordered and received a "well I can't change it" in return not even an "oops, the cost is......" Waited 6 minutes for our meal and the gentleman behind us received his first. Sat down to eat and my sandwich was made improperly (missing bacon and cheese on my Bacon and Cheese Tendercrisp) so I brought it back and was told she rang it in wrong after she discussed it with 2 others (cashier and grill man Karn) behind the counter. Was told I had to pay more for the meal I ordered. I said no I would like my meal as I had ordered it and I've already paid AND that there was no price to reference on the menu board. ANOTHER consultation with another supervisor who was working drive through. She said just put bacon and cheese on it. Grill person angrily put it together properly after drive thru supervisor told him to and fired it down the shoot. Another Supervisor was called from the back area and came up and tried to explain my receipt to me saying I had to pay more and I said no, she didn't review or repeat the order and since I can't see her order screen how am I supposed to know it was being done wrong. We we're not given a til receipt as it was on the tray she was filling. I would like my meal as I had ordered it. FINALLY the new supervisor found my sandwich and handed it to me. No apologies given

Got relative pickup food supper got all I ordered except 3 large orders of fries got 3 orders gravy busy this time CHECK your bags before you leave. What I did get I really enjoyed not enough food. Had their onion rings for first time FAB! Used smaller rings relatively same pop in your mouth size bready crusty just delicious rings. Usually get larger rings crusty crust bite in into and a soggy string of onion falls out with attached transparent skin. Not this time a new standard Burger King for onion rings. Never had their apple turnover another winner but they could use a bit more apple bits in the apple turnover lots delicious sauce in there love crunch of the crust and no scorch. Had a ranch chicken wrap like the breaded soft chicken inside and the summer tasting tomatoes and lettuce all the way through. Would like a tsp or two of Chipotle through that wrap or sweet chilli sauce but mild. Didn't get my large fry I was craving Burger King has the best fries and gravy in town. Regular fries thicker gravy. Don't like BK burgers that much but super enjoyed tonight's food will be coming back.
