Every time I come to this location and order an iced caramel macchiato with extra caramel and caramel walls I pay for extra but get even less than the normal amount. In the past when I have requested to have just extra caramel added into it, the baristas act frustrated as if iām requesting something and that I am a nuisance in trying to receive the quality of the drink I payed for. It has reached the point that I donāt even want to ask the barista for them to fix it because of the attitude I receive or I get spoken to like I am stupid but I guess how are the baristas expected to be kind to customers when I have witnessed staff who appear to be in charge treating others with anything but kindness. Seeing that the wait at this location is often longer than necessary, my drink should be made right the first time. I donāt ask for any modifications other than extra caramel, I guess I just donāt understand why that is so hard to ensure when making a drink. Given how this happens every single time I donāt think any of the baristas know what the word āextraā means and if they do they donāt care to put the quality in the drink. Not to mention that the customer service at this location is lacking. I thought Starbucks took pride in being a company that makes connections and quality coffee that myself and many other customers pay the pretty penny for but time and time again I have witnessed at this location a lack of kindness and quality from staff and their...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreNew Change to How Drinks are Made: Former barista here, the first thing they show you is the difference between burnt shots and non-burnt shots based on the time they're left to sit. Starbucks espresso shots are now allowed to sit for up to 90 seconds. Your shots will burn if left this long, no two ways about it. I've had Starbucks a few times since this change. The shots are now always burnt. I won't even come anymore. Go support local shops instead!
Please be aware: no seating and no bathrooms at this location anymore.
The Reno hasnāt made it more nice or more comfortable inside unfortunately, it has just taken up unnecessary space, but Iām sure the staff loves not having to deal with sit-ins. Okay customer service (Kat has great customer service*), drinks are really hit and miss though (unless Kat is on bar) and there is no longer any bathrooms nor seating available as they have āno roomā and they will not be getting any - just to be aware that you canāt sit in anymore (which is silly). I donāt like coffee shops that push grab and go culture, as itās not inherent to what a coffee shop is. No greeting from staff on entrance. The Oleato (olive oil and coffee) is a blasphemy, and sends people running to the bathroom so...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreI'm a bit torn in my review here because as a drive-thru I have always had consistent and Stellar service from this particular location. But in person, sitting in the restaurant was a whole different experience.
I went in for lunch with my dad on a Saturday and it was a completely different story. They were understaffed and obviously having staffing issues. The gals at the front line were lovely but the barista was having a temper tantrum. There was a mix-up with my drink and when I mentioned it to him he huffed and then literally dumped it out so hard that the milk splattered up all over him the sink and over on me behind the counter. No apologies, no nothing. Just 'tude.
It wasn't made properly a second time and my reusable mug had not been wiped down, still covered in milk splatter. And then the gal that was at the front had forgotten to put our food in the heater and it was 15 minutes in already.
Honestly at that point I had had enough. So much staff 'tude that I don't think I'll go back again.
I don't think you can write off an entire venue because of one bad staff choice, but then again it's up to the manager to make sure that they are hiring people that are representing their location in...
