KFC — Restaurant in New Glasgow

its chicken. they offer allot more than they used to but. frankly it never wows me. theirs always something off about the food at this location i stopped eating here for years decided to give them one more try after there new renovation changeover. the food was exactly the same. just lacking in so many ways. the gravy is disgusting. the popcorn chicken inst never crispy enough always soggy. the chicken sandwiches are always slightly off.. squishy ? maybe the word. there not crispy and feel like they have been microwaved. the fries are also soggy 90% of the time. the only good part is the chicken but even then its lacking crunch. if they brought back Extra crispy permanently might change things but until then i wont be eating here again anytime soon. the staff is always helpful at least and friendly and its a decent atmosphere to eat in. and there are a few new things on the menu. like bread... wish i could give this place 5 stars but i simply cant the kfc in corner brook blows them away. its not the franchise that the issue for some reason its this locations food prep. just doesn't come out right and always leaves me...

Well today I had quite the experience. I was given a card that asked to give a review on line - with that I had a choice of either a cheesecake, a drumstick and something else which would be given free with my order. I took my precious time to complete the online feedback - went through the lineup again - only to be told - no you have to tell us that you were going to take the survey first, give me a break!! Well I actually didn't give you a Highly Satisfied mark, because you had issues with a customer at cash, something in another person's order was forgot and there was a wrong sandwich for another person. I was in a rush, (and this usually happens to anyone trying to get home quickly) and living 1.5hr away I wouldn't be coming back anytime soon so I figured why not, fill it out and get the desert to go....in your defense you would have spoken to the manager causing another line up delay which I wasn't prepared to go through -- so I would advise - don't fill out those darn things - waste of time, energy and a bit of false advertisement on the side. Gives them a rating and you are left with with just the promise of...

Placed an order in the drive through and was advised it was a 20min wait for the order. No problem. Pulled up by front door and waited for my order.

At the 30min mark and watching multiple orders go thru the drive thru I went inside.

Charged for a 25 piece meal....given an 18 piece and when we arrived home found that it was under cooked, soggy, burnt looking (Dark greasy brown) and plain gross. Threw most of the chicken out and when we got to the bottom of the bucket, there was more blackened grease on the bottom than we had ever seen before (KFC is greasy anyways but this was horrific). The fryers obviously needed a change and probably wasn't hot enough when the chicken went in.

Kids refused to eat and so did the rest of the family. Peanut butter toast and bananas was the end result.

It may be busy, but undercooked and poorly made food is a waste of a person's money and time.
