Pizza Delight — Restaurant in New Glasgow

Nov 26 2024 Love this place. I’m having Hawaiian pizza again and got to have Ben as my server again. He remembered me which made me feel so special. Again even though it was very busy he had a smile and took time to thank me for coming. Food as always was great.

Update September 20/24 Came in for a little supper. Served quickly, even though they had a sign posted saying new employees please be patient. I had one of my favourite meals Hawaiian and since placemat featured a new dessert I had that also. It was funnel fries. The total best. My server was a young man named Ben. What a sweetie, very caring, polite and attentive. Was real not fake.

Updater I’m new to this area and decided to take a quick lunch. I’m so glad I did. The food was fantastic and the price amazing. I had a lunch deal with 6” 3 topping pizza and 6” garlic fingers and Pepsi. Total meal was $14.02 . What a great deal. I was going to take some home but it was so good I couldn’t just ate it all. My server was so kind and humble in his manner and speech. So rare today. He made the visit special. It was I was his only customer. Thank you for hiring him. His name is Kanush. I will certainly return.

March 16 2024 Today I have returned and again I have not been disappointed. Had pizza and garlic fingers. The server was Erniel and he was a delightful person. Every time I come back I feel welcomed. As a widow who is new to this area it is a nice feeling. . I eat out alone a lot. The other server Kanush even stopped to welcome me. Not only is this my pizza stop for the food but also...

Went to this restaurant with family for the very first time and I can easily say 2 things - it will be for the last and hands down, one of the worsts In dining experience ever. Had to wait 45 mins to get the order & no it wasn't busy, there were may be 2-3 tables with a couple of people at each table (all we ordered was an appetizer & 2 dinner dish) when I went to check up on the order post the 45 mins, couldn't find anyone so hung around the front of the counter & saw the server coming out of the kitchen talking on the phone so I got the hand signals & finally she said she will have someone else run the food out to us because she was busy fixing a problem with the debit machine. 5 mins later the cook comes out with 2 orders of food (the appetizer & 1 dinner dish) only for us to taste & find out that it was cold & full of grease, rice was stuck together & turned soggy & into lumpy balls, chicken skillet was not sizzling hot like it's supposed to be & overly sweet & didn't have the tossed sauce we asked for. When we told the cook about all that he said he will bring fresh plate of appetizer, little did we know, other than the garlic breads everything else on the appetizer plate was reheated & of course overcooked even burnt. For apology, we got excuses that there was only 1 server and 1 cook running the restaurant. We couldn't even finish one full portion/plate of food, just Tried bits & pieces. Paid for the food in full. It was already too late to go eat somewhere else. Anyway, thanks...

Order finally arrived...over two hours late. Wrong sized Garlic Fingers...12" rather than 9". Total cost...$41.49. Ridiculous. I should have cancelled the order the first time I was talking to the guy on the phone...

UPDATE to the UPDATE: 8:35 and still no Pizza order! Spoke with a gentleman at Pizza Delight twice now. He sounds apologetic. Feel for the guy. It's a busy day. But..he still could not confirm if my order was on it's way or not. It's been two hours or so.

UPDATE: apparently they are swamped with calls and orders. My order should be here shortly... It is now 8:14 pm.

Today, I was storm stayed in a hotel in New Glasgow, N.S. I placed a phone order with Pizza Delight at approximately 6:45 pm and I was told it would take 30 minutes for my order to arrive. It is now 8:02 pm. Pizza Delight closes at 8:00 p.m. today. For the past fifteen minutes I tried calling the restaurant to see what happened to my order, with no luck. The restaurant phone line has been busy. I know because I've tried them three times. This is very frustrating. I don't know whether to continue waiting (seems pointless) or should I order from another...
