We came for an early dinner and it wasnt too crowded. Noticed right away that the servers were so engaged with the locals at the bar instead of tending to tables. The garlic bread was dry but we didnt mention anything because it was still ok. My husband has the rib/wing combo. The ribs were awesome and so were the wings. The beans however, were all dried out with a ring around the dish. Obviously had been sitting for a while. I ordered the special….veal on a bun. First of all….it was a veal pressed patty…not breaded veal you would normally get. The bun was completely soaked in sauce and oil. I tried to lift it up and it just fell apart. I just ate the veal and it was so mushy. Very disappointing since it was their “special”. Then…getting the servers attention to pay the bill was a joke. When i finally got her to settle up…it took like 10 minutes while she chatted with the patrons at the bar. We mentioned our concerns and she just said…ill tell the kitchen!! I wasnt looking for a free meal as thats not my style but i dont think she cares. She just gave us the bill. We had been to Coops a couple of weeks ago with friends and it was great. Thats why we came back. It was like we were at a different restaurant this time. Our previous Saturday night servers were amazing. What a difference this time. I know the locals are a big part of the business, but every customer should be attended to in the same manner. Wasted almost...
Read moreCoop's Smokin' Wing House in Newmarket exceeded my expectations in more ways than one. From the moment I walked in, I was greeted with great service and found a quick seating despite not having a reservation. The staff was friendly, attentive, and made me feel right at home.
Now, let's talk about the wings. They were absolutely fantastic! The portion size was generous, and the wings were cooked to perfection. Each bite was bursting with flavor, and the variety of sauces and rubs offered a tantalizing array of options. Whether you prefer mild or extra spicy, Coop's has something to satisfy every palate.
What impressed me even more was the affordability of the wings. Considering the portion size and the quality of the food, the prices were more than reasonable. It's refreshing to find a place that doesn't break the bank but still delivers on taste and value.
Another convenience was the availability of parking. Finding a spot was hassle-free, making my overall experience that much more enjoyable.
I highly recommend Coop's Smokin' Wing House to anyone in the area craving some delicious wings. The great service, ample seating, generous portions, and mouthwatering flavors make it a must-try destination. Whether you're dining in or getting takeout, Coop's delivers...
Read moreCannot understand why this location is not lined up out the door. Their kitchen is much better than your average pub food. So, we found this place by mistake after living 3 blocks away for quite some time & I wish we had found them sooner. Their wings are really good, perfectly cooked, big, crispy, and juicy on the inside. I think they offer smoked wings, too, if you get there early enough in the day. I love the cute way they present the wings, though... most places slap em in a paper lined tray and jam the carrot / celery / fries amongst the saucy mess. Here, you will be presented a mini glass jar with celery, carrots, cucumber & tomato. A mesh wire mini fry basket overfilling with perfectly cooked & salted fries, served on a long & skinny plate where the wings are carefully stacked to one side ready for you to dig in. A little TLC goes a long way.
The Mac & cheese ... don't skip past that one... thank me later.
Beer variety is pretty good. If not on tap, they likely have a bottle. Atmosphere is pretty standard pub bar style. Staff are great, friendly & quick Prices are super reasonable, I usually get away under $50 for two people ( app, wings...
