The BEST Caribbean food in the area! I preordered my meal and when I walked in, my food was ready to go - NO WAIT TIME at all like some other reviews suggest. The lady working at the front was kind and friendly, from our interaction alone I could tell the food was gonna be good. And it exceeded my expectations! For what you pay, you get A LOT of food. I’ll have some nice leftovers for tomorrow lol The Curry Chicken was tasty, the chicken was cooked perfectly and there was enough gravy to cover the rice and peas. There wasn't a dry bite in this meal! The coleslaw wasn't anything spectacular, just regular coleslaw, except it was a bigger portion than most restaurants! The festival was also cooked well; it was soft, warm and subtly sweet. It went very well with the rich oxtail gravy on the side. I'd highly recommend visiting this restaurant if you're in the area, I only wish I'd tried it out sooner. Never change!

I never write reviews but this time I had to. I discovered this place because I just moved to the surrounding areas a few months ago and I google searched it. I use to live in Brampton and Milton so they have plenty of Caribbean restaurants that are great. I ordered the Oxtail with Rice and peas and a spicy beef patty with coco bread. Let me tell you that from the honest truth that the oxtail is the best I've ever had! The sauce had tremendous flavor that had a great kick to it while the beef was so fall of the bone tender. The sauce was spectacular with the rice and coleslaw. To top it off the patty and the bun were so fresh with a soft crunch with each bite. Every bite full of flavor. I will definitely going back to try the other dishes. I totally recommend this place. And of course the staff was extremely polite to me.

First time coming here, tried the Wed special Jerk Chicken. I loved the flavour of the chicken, it actually reminded me of jerk pork, had a smoky type flavour. The portion was fantastic for the special. What I appreciated the most is that when I asked for oxtail gravy he said "light, medium or heavy?" That's a man after my own heart lol. I can't stand dry food so I'm always reluctant to try a new west Indian place cause some places I have been are so stingy with the gravy so I stick to 2 places I know that will pour it on in Toronto. But now I can add a 3rd to my list. Even when they brought the meal out the gravy amount wasn't to his liking so he went back. I love this! That sold me for life! Big ups to a good west Indian spot in York Region. I will be back. Fyithe specials end at 6pm.

The best Caribbean food I have tasted in York Region. With that being said I love the jerk pork, oxtail, goat, and the fish. The rice and peas is excellent and i am really enjoying the coleslaw as well. The diversity of beverages is great as well. My only few complaints are regarding the wait time which often extends to 25 to 30 minutes. We are regular customers that visit the place more than a few times weekly since the beginning, and the wait time is really a detrimental factor to fully enjoy the amazing food. On a second note, I find the atmosphere very dull, with the owner of the place not taking complaints lightly and on several occasions clients were told to leave if waiting too long is an inconvenience. The tone was not kind and mindful either. Last but not least I was left with a bittersweet taste after my last visit today. Yelling and swearing at employees is never acceptable. Especially as a man and owner. Using that kind of language when clients can hear is really an unfortunate experience. Makes you as a client to feel uncomfortable. I will not return even though it was my place of choice for take out. I recommend it to everyone that likes Caribbean cuisine, but who are not bothered by episodes of my...

I'm so glad I discovered this hidden gem! This local Caribbean restaurant serves up authentic island flavors that will transport your taste buds to the Caribbean. The food? Absolutely divine! I've tried several dishes, and each one is a masterclass in flavor and spice. The jerk chicken and oxtail are personal favorites, and the portions are generous to say the least. Even better, the prices are extremely reasonable! What really sets this place apart, though, is their commitment to supporting the local community. They offer incredibly affordable daily specials for students, which is a game-changer for those on a budget. It's clear they care about giving back and making their delicious food accessible to everyone. By supporting local business, you're not only treating your taste buds but also investing in the community. Let's keep our local gems thriving! In short, if you haven't tried this place yet, what are you waiting for? Get ready for a culinary escape and a warm welcome from the friendly staff. Five stars isn't enough - I'd give it...
