I work with individuals who have intellectual disabilities. On Thursday, February 1st, I placed an order for two 12" meals (one turkey, one meatball) for supported individuals. I tried to order online and it made me download the subway app. I ordered for delivery to my office because we were having a meeting. Apparently the deliveries get delivered by Doordash, no big deal. I couldn't leave the office so I gave a 15% tip for the convenience, even though the subway is literally around the corner. The app did not send a receipt to my email provided or anything.
Doordash driver sent me a text stating he was downstairs. I responded within 3 minutes and said i will be right down I was just upstairs. There was staff there that said they could take the items to me and he refused. He did not wait for me, took the food and left. I spent $49.74 for two combos and the driver responded with he left because he was busy. I called doordash and they said that because I ordered on the subway app then I have to get the refund directly from Subway. I called Subway on Mullock (Store #17543) and the gentleman who answered said " I made the subs, the driver picked them up, deal with Doordash, They need to give you a refund. I did my job and now I'm busy with other orders"
As a customer I have never been so frustrated. I had to have a staff go back to subway and pay for the order again to bring the meals back for the people supported. The man at the store would not give a refund for the previous order.
I have emailed subway and have heard nothing. I called the store again and the same guy said "I remember this, I'll get it figured out. Give me 24 hours, Ill call you back." That was 4 days ago.
Doordash has refunded Subway and Subway still has not refunded my order.
This has been the worst customer experience and I will NEVER order from this subway again.
Trying to get help from Subway has been terrible. No phone numbers are anything to speak to anyone and they just refer you to...
Read moreTerrible experience with Subway App, Subway customer Service and this store (Muloch, Newmarket). I ordered a Sub on the Subway App @ 6 pm, and it defaulted to this Store. Oops, this is not the store I wanted as I was 3 hours away - this is an issue with the App. selecting the last store visited. This has been corrected since my formal complaint with Subway. I then called the Store immediately, and after 8 calls then answered the phone. This was 18 minutes after I placed the order. I explained my situation of ordering from the wrong store and being 3 hours away and requested a refund for the $14.63 I had spent. They refused to cancel my order and offer a refund. I did not receive my sub and they kept my money. I filed 2 complaints with Subway and they did not respond. I filed a complaint with the Better Business Bureau and they contacted the Store on my behalf - still no response from store. In my opinion, this is terrible customer service and must, in some way, violate sales laws in Canada. Very disappointed in Subway and this store for not acknowledging my complaint and issuing me a refund. Shame on you Subway. You have already lost more then my refund request of $14.63, since my friends and I have selected other food companies while choosing to eat out. You get a 0 rating from me for...
Read moreYou "don't accept coupons"? You're a franchise. You are required to under your franchise agreement. If you disagree with corporate that much, stop being a franchise. Make your own branding, do your own marketing, and source your own suppliers. If you're not willing to do that, coupons are one of the franchise taxes you have to pay. You can't have it both ways.
The positive reviews here are the things corporate tells you to comment with your own account. Have you seen any other Subway where people talk about how the owner is great? How would you even know who the owner is? And people commenting about having "such an amazing experience" is something that doesn't happen at subway stores. Super suspicious that each negative review is followed shortly after by a glowing five star talking about things no Subway patron notices or cares about.
Fake reviews, bad service, doesn't follow franchise policies, and frankly, bad owner for trying to fake a successful franchise instead of...
