So this was my boyfriends and i, second time going to this location. First time service was great, our server was a young blonde girl I forget her name but she was all smiles and very friendly and made excellent subs. Tonight we were served by a young brunette named Grace.. her service was horrible. The subs weren't bad, except for the bread needing to have been baked a little longer as well as she took our subs out way to early from the toaster. She had microwaved and toasted my boyfriends chicken, however it was still half frozen when we got home. All the chicken she had in her server was completely frozen, when they should really be thawed out the night before by that shift worker. She was impersonal, rude, and shoving us out the door as fast as she could. All the while her cell phone was sitting on the cutting counter in sight, volume high and dinging constantly. As soon as she had finished my credit transaction she whiped the receipt at me and ran to her phone at the end of the counter. Can't believe the manager allows his employees to do that, horrible service on this girls behalf and horribly poor reflection on the...
Read moreI’ve been to this location more than once because it is close and I wanted to give it a honest review rather than just one visit. I have noticed that the workers do NOT add a DECENT amount of toppings, especially if you are not present. I have asked for black olives and received 5 on my 12” sub… when I asked politely for more the worker proceeded to add another minimal amount. This is ridiculous considering the prices have increased over the years .. i should get every topping in every bite.
Another issue that I noticed today was that one worker was preparing an uber eats order with multiple subs, i’m not sure if it is protocol to switch gloves in between subs when touching meats/fish because you don’t know customers dietary restriction. The worker made a pork sub and then proceeded to the next sub with the same gloves and made a turkey sub. This is something that needs to be addressed as you are cross contaminating the meats/gloves and do not know whether the turkey sub customer eats pork ! I also do not see them switching the gloves until they are done, which means those same pork gloves go into the veggie...
Read moreWasn't sure whether to give 3 or 2.. Might update later. I would normally NEVER write a review like this because I know and understand how damaging it can be. However, the sheer coincidence just made me laugh/think.
12 days ago this placed changed owners, Arthur sold it after 26 years. I had/have been coming to this location at least 3x a week for the last 6 years, so it was a difficult piece of news to hear.
3x a week multiplied by 312 weeks in a 6 year period is a total of 936 times I have come to this location (I'm going to round up to 940 because there were quite a few times where I came back for dinner at 8 or 9 after finishing lunch at 2 or 3. So a total of 940 times eating here and not once have i EVER gotten sick from eating here.
I have been here 3 times since they have changed hands, tonight was my fourth and it will be my last. Four times I have eaten here and four times I have been violently ill puking and with the chills and stomach cramps for at least 12-18 hours after. I wasn't really going to continue coming here anyway, since I only went here in the morning because I loved talking...
