Sahara Shawarma Wrap — Restaurant in Niagara Falls

Yesterday, we went to order a chicken shawarma wrap at Sahara. There were two girls working, and one of them came to the counter to take our order. We told her we wanted a chicken shawarma wrap. Then she asked, "What kind of wrap?" We repeated, "Chicken shawarma wrap," and also pointed to the picture on the display. Again, she asked, "What wrap?" We clearly told her again, and she gave us a frustrated look and told the other employee what the heck are they saying I don't get it in their language, which we understand,we haven't said anything to them at that moment but felt really uncomfortable .After clearing the confusion we were sitting on the chairs inside, so while making shawarma,one of the girls who took order started talking to another girl about us, which was really inappropriate. Earlier, when there were boys working, we simply told them "chicken shawarma wrap," and without any confusion, they gave us our order. Never going to that...

Food was very delicious but staff communication could use tweaking. The first girl took our order - 2 wraps and a large fries and then disappeared to the back. The second girl made the wraps and when she gave them to us, we asked about the fries and she didn't have a clue. After checking with the girl in the back, she apologized and said the fries would be 2 minutes. Don't know what the girl in the back was doing but our fries sat in the basket till the second girl finished making the wraps for the group behind us. Then she handed me a medium fries. I told her we ordered a large and again she had no clue. She checked with the girl in the back who finally came out and flipped through the receipts, threw up her arms and disappeared to the back! 2nd girl apologized again and looked at me like its not her fault. I am so sick of this world we live in now. Prices go up and food quantity and quality goes down. Zero customer service, nobody speaks English. This place used to be my go to weekly. I got my food today and I got a handful of rice, 4 tiny pieces of chicken and literally a toonie size of veggies. This has happend 3 times recently. I will never ever be back! Unfortunately this is how restaurants go out of business. Take care of your customers and they will take care of you. I’m done!! So FRUSTRATING!!! Used to pay 20 bucks for 2 and you could feed a family of 4 now…. Luck to be full for one. If the owner is reading this which I highly doubt because the guy doesn’t even look sideways when paying customers walk in the door, please do something before people stop spending their hard earned money at your establishment.
