This review is for the Duncan McDonalds. Service: Absolutely terrible, one person working at the till with 5 to 6 people in the line. They have table service for people wanting to eat in and it was the one person working the till the was delivering the table orders! There appeared to be 2 supervisors that continually came up to check on the front and then disappear back into the prep area. Zero for efficiency. When it was finally our turn to order we had to tell everything to the young man taking our order. I ordered 2 meals for our grandchildren, fish and cheeseburger with chocolate milk and handed him a coupon. He looked at the coupon like he had never seen one and then asked if I wanted 2 Big Macs, so I said no fish and cheeseburger with chocolate milk. So he gets the burgers ordered and then asked what drinks I want. CHOCOLATE MILK! Then I tried to order a Angus burger with root beer, there times later we got it done. He may have been new but the a supervisor should have been there with home especially with the line that was growing exponentially. Cleanliness: The restaurant area wasn't bad but the washroom were in abyssal condition. The big rolls of toilet paper were laying on the floor and trust me with cleanliness of the floor none in their right mind would use them. The dirt build up along the edges and in the corners wasn't new, it has bee building up for weeks or months. All surfaces were covered in dust and cup rings. I have never been in a fast food restuarant bathroom this disgusting before. McDonald's take note and give this place an overhaul. A pet peeve of mine is your rotating menu boards, impossible to get a clear picture of what is available. And the ordering kiosks ask multiple questions till pretty soon you have no idea what you have ordered. I am very well versed in technology and this was laborious...
Read moreWe came through Duncan At 4am. it seems McDonald's was the only thing open at that time. We did a mobile order, so we pulled off to pick it up. NOT. Drive thru was closed. Doors were locked. All lights were on. Phoned, it just rang until it disconnected. Apparently they misunderstand the concept of 'OPEN 24 HOURS'. Not being in the mood for this crap, I cancelled my order and left. Judging by alot of other reviews for this issue (among many others, it seems), the disregard by management to bother fixing ANY of the issues being brought to their attention is another issue as well. Being virtually the only place (supposedly) open on a Friday night, you would think that they would take advantage of the lucrative position that puts them in. Or not. If you are closed, that fact should be obvious. Wasting people's time by appearing open, only to be mislead - After they have already pulled off the road into the super sketchy parking lot, is false advertising and a threat to public safety. Turn off some lights at least. Stop tricking people, and wasting electricity. So basically, make sure you eat BEFORE you go through Duncan late at night, or be prepared to feast on Gas Station food if you want to avoid starvation before you get to the next town. On a side note, I was wondering what delivery services (Skip, etc) are supposed to do when they show up and it's closed. Then I got suspicious, surmising that they were probably the only ones that would get any service. Otherwise, what exactly do they do in there all night? It's obviously not 'working' or 'being open' as advertised, which is one of my biggest peeves-in case you couldn't tell. Management needs to be held accountable for what is occurring there, this looks bad on McDonald's. As there is no zero stars option, they get 1 across the board, as I did not get to...
Read moreCaramel sundaes with extra extra caramel is the bomb.
Here's where it gets nuts for people who like McDonald's sundaes. They're way too small obviously. So if you ask the person behind the tell to make you a Sunday in a large pop cup they will do it. They'll charge you whatever amount they charge you usually the chart that I've been charged. The price of a milkshake was added caramel cuz I like caramel milkshake Sundays. So for about $6 you can get a large pop container filled with Sunday if if they're really reluctant to do that. And I've never had that happen but it happened once to my friend who I sent to get it to them. That's what happens when you send people to do things that you should do yourself. They could only get them to put it in a McFlurry cup, but a large McFlurry cup filled with Sunday to the brim with double extra caramel is very very good as well. Other than that, the revamps at this McDonald's in question have been amazing. My son loves the playground. He loves trying a gross promotion items like the purple milkshake. Sorry mcdonald's the purple Maple shake very unappealing. Other than that this is one of those McDonald's where you go in. You have your order of cheeseburger or quarter pounder and it's just perfect. It's not soggy. It's not gross. It's made properly and that's a testament to the manager and I take my hat off...
