Gaetan’s Chip Stand — Restaurant in North Glengarry

Friendly, if not quick service. Reasonable prices depending on what you order. 4 all dressed hot dogs, 2 small fries and 2 cans of Coke came in just under 19$. Generous amount of parking. Accommodating when i requested napkins, ketchup. I found the order process confusing. When i walked up 6 people were just standing around the take out window in an arc. I had no clue who had ordered and who was waiting. Guy that walked up in front of me looked slightly confused as well - and he was a regular as he thanked the guy at the window by name. Needs to be a little more organized despite the fact I fully understand with Covid 19 we cant be standing on top of each other. Maybe the people waiting to order on 1 side and the ones that did order and awaiting their food on the other? Regardless, as stated in my opening sentence, I waited 20 minutes being 7th in line - not exactly quick. Hot dogs themselves were hot, onions were fresh. French fries were good as well. Although worth a stop if you're in the area or are a local, there's not much that sets this place apart from other chip stands, unless individual horizons...

Had to go back 3 times to have them fix my order and still didn’t get what I ordered! Simple burgers, hotdogs and poutines/fries. Failed to put the drinks in the first time, went back, gave us all root beers instead of what was ordered and still was short 1. Ordered a bacon cheeseburger with no condiments, paid for a bacon cheeseburger, received a patty in a bun. Was a $100 order and messed up almost every combo. The guy was nice but the food was terrible. We got hotdogs burger and fries and it was cold and tasted gross. It honestly seems like the food had been sitting out on the counter all day. Everything tasted wrong, the meat was bad and the rest was stale/soggy. We couldnt even finish the food and both of us felt sick...
