The Glengarry Market — Restaurant in North Glengarry

The deserts are good but the lunch menu such as soups and sandwiches are quite dry, bland and overpriced. They don’t have options like crackers to add to your soup which is unfortunate when you pay the price of 5.95 for just a small soup portion of potato and leeks … feels like it is lacking options and needs more attention to details. The shop itself is great cause they support local businesses and farms and we need that here in Canada ! Overall a nice place I just don’t recommend eating lunch here if you are looking for meat options -it’s a lot of vegetarian food. What a fantastic shop! Don’t pass by without stopping in. They have tons of local, healthy foods to choose from, mostly from local farmers, bakers and artisans. It’s all displayed in awesome wooden shelving and well organized, bright fridges and freezers. They have a little coffee shop, too, and tables to sit and eat.
