la belle sorelle bistro — Restaurant in North Glengarry

I don't often post a review unless a business has done something so remarkable that after a few hours I still haven't settled down. And I usually state that I hate that I can't truly give a star rating that is appropriate, usually zero. This is one of those times. I may have to review twice so I can give them 10 stars!

I recently comment to someone that I was so tired of restaurants all serving the same basic frozen junk purchased from the cheapest wholesaler.

This is not the Belle Sorelle. The food was unbelievably terrific, and obviously prepared with fresh quality ingredients and actual care and passion. The menu offerings were so well thought out I really struggled to choose, and the portions just the perfect size! I hate leaving a restaurant hungry!

The people there and service were amazing! Just the right mix of friendliness and helpfulness while not being overbearing.

Honestly one of the best experiences I have had in a long time. These people should give classes on how a small customer based business...

Imaginative, thoughtful dishes prepared with obvious care and attention to detail.

I'm a fish-eating vegetarian and asked for some small tweaks to my meal which were accommodated with a smile. I was not the only one in our party of 18 with odd requests and our excellent server never batted an eye.

These are interesting dishes, but you actually get fed; it's not ridiculous little portions. Pretty sure no one left hungry and the desserts are probably lovely but we had more than filled up on the appetizers and the main courses.

I think the menu changes often so I won't go into detail about anything. Lots of choices for vegetarians but the meat dishes looked fantastic too. If I ever fall off the wagon I'll start here.

From what I saw and heard, everyone enjoyed their meal and many people commented not only what a sophisticated menu it was, but how good the food tasted.

This place is a hidden gem!! Me and my mom came here today at lunch and it was absolutely amazing. The device is fantastic, our waiter was the best. I asked for extra ice and he gave me a whole cup of ice lol!! It was perfect. They also are very accommodating to any special requests which is awesome. The food is what really stands out, it was so moist, delicious, everything food should be. I had the pork burrito and Mac and cheese, both of which were a 10/10. My mom got chicken tacos and a salad and she said it was the best tacos she’s ever had. So much flavour and everything was so fresh and homemade, right down to the pickled bean on my Caesar drink. We got desserts to take home, best tiramisu ever!!!!!! And they have some cute little things like water bottles, spices, and more all of which were so cute and handy.
