Genesis Kitchen — Restaurant in North Glengarry

Normally when I leave a review of an establishment I try to capture the ambiance within the picture, or at least the dish I got. Unfortunately, by the time I had remembered to take a picture I was left with an empty plate and a full belly and a body that had naturally relaxed without my preview. This little accessible cafe with its soft music and almost homey atmosphere seems perfect place for people from all walks of life to take a moment and just enjoy life s it comes. The people who were working have clearly not yet lost their spark and love of food that their soft smiles and clear skill demonstrates, which is something to be appreciated these days. While I was there it was quite busy but I was served quickly, and it never felt crowded as there is plenty of space between tables. I believe this cafe is a love letter to food made with care for the average person who simply wants a good lunch in a nice setting. 10/10 would recommend to any...

What a charming eatery! My two siblings and I were travelling back to Ottawa two Mondays ago and were looking for a place to have breakfast. We were so happy to discover this recently opened jewel of a café. Two of us had the Omelet Brekky with the accompanying crispy tater tots and sourdough toast and the man in the group had the Hungryman Brekky. What a feast! The omelettes were loaded with meat, veggies and cheese just like you’d make them at home. The freshly ground and brewed coffee was delicious. The service was warm and friendly. I found this place to be very cozy and it has a great ambiance. The mural on the wall had so much detail, humour and really told a beautiful story. The food was promply made, well cooked and everything I could ask for. We all need a really good sandwich to devour. To top it all off they have Death by Chocolate ice cream with bailey's served although a chocolate dipped waffle cone.. like whaaat?! Now that just addictive!!!🤣 obviously you must be of age.
