Thought this place would be nice to try, but it was one of the worst meals I’ve had in a LONG time. Our server was kind and attentive and the restaurant itself is cute. HOWEVER, the food was horrific and so expensive for the portions and quality. We did the $48 per person dine out menu and ordered the keftedes and calamari. Both were inedible. The keftedes consisted of 2 minuscule meatballs swarming in butter on a rock hard old pita, the only flavour was butter?? The calamari was the worst offence of all. They were slippery and slimy and the breading just slipped off of them all. The squid itself was tough and chewy and I actually had to spit it out because I couldn’t chew it?? Not appetizing. When the mains came we were already so grossed out we didn’t even want to eat anymore. We ordered the lamb and it was acidic and mostly just consisted of bones. There was some nasty cheese melted on top of the lamb which I could not touch it looked so unappetizing. The chicken souvlaki skewer was the only edible thing of the evening, but it was served with some wet, sloppy vegetable medley that was just drenched in oil. Overall, truly disgusting. The food tasted like it was cooked by someone who has never tried Greek food before. Perhaps they had seen a picture of Greek food and thought, hmmmm I could do that. Would not recommend this, especially given we spent around $140 and had to go get something else to eat after.

We went for a birthday dinner at Anatoli Souvlaki and the first time experience was amazing. We ordered the appetizers at the same time as the main meals, but the main meals came 20-30 minutes after the appetizers, which seemed like too much time. The calamari appetizer was tasty as was the spanakopita. The waiter was very welcoming to us as well. The appetizers were full of flavour but they were not very filling, which I didn't expect for $20 per a dish. The mains were very big and filling and although they were double the price of the appetizers, there was plenty of food-more than enough for the us and the person we were sharing with. The atmosphere was quite loud and the ladies sitting behind us were having a little too much to drink, I think, as they were talking and laughing very loudly, which made it hard to make conversation with even the people sitting next to us. Also, there was no on site parking so we had to park two blocks away which was a cold walk back to our car after the meal was done. But from all that aside, the food was lovely but a tad too expensive.

UPDATE- DECEMBER 4/23 - I just wanted to let readers know the outcome - I did end up receiving a refund today. Ordered via Uber at 520pm Anatolis staff gave our order to another driver- I had to call to find this out that was 623pm- they certainly didn’t attempt to reach out to us ; wanted to then cancel the order because it was delayed further/ taking too long and the manager told me I can’t - she then said she needs to talk to Uber- she was unapologetic and said she would remake our order and “had to go”……when it arrived it was ice cold - truly ice cold…..did you send us the original order returned to you? The salad looked like they just sliced cucumbers …I would like a refund please at 62.40 (tried calling so they could pick it back up or discuss but was put on hold twice). Have been going here for decades - expected more -used to be so reliable and consistent, what happened Georgia?? order number ECB20

Update: Rating Changed from 2 to 5 stars

After leaving a negative review (bottom) due to a bad dining experience, Anatoli's manager (Georgia) immediately reached out. She gave me a call, listened to my experience, relayed what she had learned after speaking to staff, apologized sincerely for our experience, and invited my friends and I back for a chance to make things right.

We returned to Anatoli's last night and everything was 10/10. The service was outstanding the food was wonderful—a complete 180 from our previous dining experience. Our server Tim was very attentive, friendly, and ensured we all had a good time.

We tried multiple dishes with everything tasting superb! (I wish we had taken more photos but we started eating as soon as the food arrived!) Our highlights were definitely the watermelon salad and the grilled humboldt squid.

I understand mistakes can happen at restaurants and I believe a big indicator on a business' professionalism is how they try to make things right with the customer.

Georgia and her team went above and beyond to give us a true taste of what dinner at Anatoli's is like.

We will definitely be coming back!

After reading so many positive reviews and having this restaurant strongly recommended by close friends, I was so surprised to have experienced such awful service. Off the top, I want to say our issue was not with our server (who was great!) but with the kitchen. Our group of five waited 45 minutes for our mains (no appetizers were ordered) and one of our guests received her meal 10 minutes after everyone else's. The big issue though was that all of our food (rice, meat, and potatoes) were cold. When I brought this to the server's attention, she apologized, spoke to the kitchen and then shockingly returned to tell me that "they don't believe me." She said the kitchen staff had said plates can get cold while people wait to eat, so the plate was probably cold but not the food. I was stunned at this response as I wasn't trying to send my food back, just have it warmed up. I had tasted everything on my plate before speaking to the waitress and even asked guests at our table to confirm it was cold. The server was noticeably embarrassed and offered to take my plate back to be warmed up. After about five minutes the plate returned and the meat and rice were the exact same cold temperature and the potatoes had, at best, increased from cold to mildly warm. At this point, we were well over an hour into our dinner, my friends had been eating for 15 minutes, so I told the server the food was still cold but that I didn't want to wait any longer. She apologized profusely, said she would speak to the manager and when she returned she said they had offered to give us each a dessert. I felt it would have been more professional if the manager had come over to speak to our table personally but I appreciated the gesture. And it was not just our table experiencing issues with the kitchen. A table of eight directly beside us made multiple complaints about how long their food was taking and then had their mains arrive 10-15 minutes apart. The restaurant is gorgeous and our server was very professional but when you're charging $30 for a main, making guests wait 45 minutes, serving cold food, and then having your chefs openly dispute your claim that the food is cold and argue with their own staff, it leaves customers with a tremendously...

Excellent location . plenty of free parking But limited

Excellent service funny server and the lunch is amazing I have been here twice and both times I am very pleased with the service and my expectations are extremely high , if I did not like it I would not have brought my family here and My Dad has 500,000 followers on Trip Advisor and he is going to giving an excellent review.

The negative ratings are giving a deep impact to this exceptional family run real baked fire oven roasted pizza oven beautiful restaurant excellent bathroom service and ask about the pictures on the wall it's family take a minute and learn a bit more not just the delicious food ... I recommend everything as we have almost have had everything on the menu.

The staff are polite and happy to be there!! Come one people give them a chance to bloom..

Every business has quirks.. Let's be positive and set them up for success!!

Well worth the wait. .

Professional staff

Wait times are high on weekends.

$$$ moderate to expensive but the food is incredible the drinks great selection .

Customers are all treated professionally and in a timely manner .

I am always thrilled to find a good deal and here you will. Take your time look carefully as there are a few name brands and the staff is helpful and donations are always excepted just remember to follow the rules and take the time to read their policies and if returning an item again ask read look.

This works if you just ask. Helpful pleasant people...

I like that there is something new and exciting ro try and it makes it a lot more enjoyable when staff are friendly and professional and take care of there guests,...

Have been eating here for many years. It has regularly been a hit and miss and unfortunately in the past year it has been more misses than hits. Recently dined in and the food was 0 out of 5 stars. We received our Calamari and some of them were soggy and so chewy we could not eat them. Then we got our main dishes - Roasted Lamb and Chicken. The Lamb was ok, a bit old and from someone who eats lamb I can always tell when it's fresh or old. The worse part of our dinner was the salad. The cucumbers were dried and stuck together and looked as if they were cut up a few days ago and sitting in a bowl. Our server was shocked and said she would get it fixed asap. They brought a new side of salad and voila it was the same. Even sort of worse this time considering she said she spoke to the kitchen and they assured her it was fresh cucumbers they chop in the morning. As someone who cooks my own food and is from Iran, I know cucumbers and can easily tell when it's old. If you cut a cucumber in the morning and put it in the fridge it will not turn yellow and shrivel up within 5-8 hours. Even in 2 days it won't do that. The cucumbers were probably closer to 3-5 days old. We were so disappointed because we wanted our 10 month old to eat cucumbers while we had our dinner. The service was ok. Definitely not going back again. Very unfortunate but hope they improve as it seems most restaurants go down hill after their prime years. Hope this...
