The Pipe Shop — Local services in North Vancouver

We used the Pipe Shop as the venue for our wedding reception. It was an absolutely beautiful space with a lot of flexibility to make it your own. The venue team was very accommodating and willing to work with us throughout the planning process to bring our vision to life. I would not hesitate to recommend them for weddings or any event! One thing to be aware of is that the city does sometimes plan events in the outdoor space right next to the venue - we had an outdoor concern taking place at the same time as our event, and could sometimes hear the music coming from outside. I went to a special event there called Divan. It was really cool! There were lots of things from Iran to see and buy, like colorful stuff, pretty jewelry, and beautiful ceramics for the Iranian New Year.

They played music from Iran, and it made me feel like I was in a different place. It was so nice to listen to. What I liked most about the event was how it brought people together. Everyone was happy and having a good time and enjoying each other’s company.

The Pipe Shop was the perfect place for our wedding this last August! Kate was so lovely to work with, and was very helpful in all the things we needed to make sure our event went smoothly. We chose it because of it's awesome location by the water, its unique visual appeal, and because we had a lot of freedom with decor. The day of our event it was quite hot which was probably the only downside, but I have heard they have plans to install temperature control in the building.
