What’s truly impressive is the consistency — the standard products are always of the same high quality. Still, each branch has its own personality, and the selection varies slightly depending on the neighborhood. If I’m in the mood for a proper ciabatta or authentic Italian bread for toasts, I head to the Italian area near Commercial Drive. It's a great store. I also want to say the staff are always very friendly every time I visit the store.
I go in Friday, Monday, and Tuesday after 5, and they are sold out, Fine. I go in at noon on my lunch break on Wednesday, and you are already out... at noon. I was told by one staff member that they are usually put out around 8:30, I'm at work by that time, so I ordered some for Thursday p/u.
