I can honestly say that this location is the most that we've visited in the span of 5 years we started living in the North Shore and all throughout the time (whether breakfast, lunch or dinner), their service and food quality stayed consistent.
Surely, there were times when mistakes were made and due to staff shortage or other reasons, quality has gone down. However, the Brooksbank branch bounces back and does not disappoint.
We like the fact that this store is conveniently located near the theatre and Save-On-Food as well as other stores (TD Bank, JJ Beans, liquor store, etc) Definitely family friendly and errands can be done before/after eating here. Bonus is that parking spots are abundant.
We also like the drive-in and eat at the back of the store where it brings me nostalgia as I remember growing up in the 70's when we rolled down the windows at the Garden City White Spot (sadly they've been gone forever) and they served food & milkshake with an elongated trays while sitting in a car. My kids got to experience what I did so that's very cool.
Also, the take outs are very accurate with the time they give you to pick up food. However, please be reminded that this location is busy especially during holiday seasons and weekends.
It is also a plus that some servers remember us since we first came in and as our kids started growing, they too got to see them and we almost feel like visiting a family member (A special shout out to Diane our favorite waitress who always come around with a sticker book. My kids love you)
Food quality is good. Portion and taste is consistent.
Perhaps this White Spot is consistently good because the staff there works longer than the other branches without much turnover. Sure the menu does not change much and it is a family restaurant. But why fix something when its not broken?
We genuinely hope they keep up the good job and remain to be the place where we always feel comfortable...

Others enjoyed the Chicken Fettucine, Chicken Teriyaki Don and Beef Dip. And only $6 extra to add salad and dessert - what a treat!
Thank you Alicia for taking such great care of us - we will be back soon! It had been a while since I had been to this White Spot location with my family and yet our server Marci remembered me! Someone else mentioned that "the servers are always lovely and treat you like part of their family" and that was definitely our experience. Marci was so friendly and took such good care of us. There was a wait to be seated but well worth it, and the hosts did their best to accommodate.
The food was delicious - the hardest part was choosing - they have the usual favourites but also some new choices added to the menu as well. In the end I had to go with my favourite Seafood Fettucine - it is so delicious and loaded with scallops, prawns and clams - I forgot to take a photo before eating it! Hubby had the Chicken & Mushroom Fettucine Alfredo, others had the Chicken Strips, we shared Sweet Potato fries and Humboldt Squid (subbed tzatziki for tartar sauce - soooo good!).
It is such a shame that every restaurant is short-staffed these days, so the staff that are working are so stretched and run off their feet - it is so important to understand this and have patience. Don't go if you are in a hurry and expect fast service - it's just not going to be possible. And please be kind to the staff they are doing the best they can under difficult...
Read more-UPDATE (Toothless Public Response)- it's been 2.5 weeks since I followed the restaurant's advice from their public response to my initial review and reached out to their customer service team via the provided email, hoping for a resolution or at least an acknowledgment of the issues I faced. Unfortunately, I've yet to receive any response.
This silence leads me to believe that the restaurant's public request to contact them directly is more about maintaining appearances rather than genuinely addressing customer concerns. It's disappointing to see a lack of follow-through on their part, which further undermines my confidence in their commitment to customer satisfaction.
Original Review: Unfortunately, my worst white spot experience ever. We were seated right away, but it took over 10 minutes to be visited by our waiter and over 20 minutes to receive drinks, even though the restaurant was practically empty just before dinner time. I ordered a simple burger with onion rings. The burger had three errors, and was not made to my specifications. When notified of this, the waiter gave me the missing ingredients and asked me to reconstruct the burger. The meal already arrived. Ice cold with unmelted plastic cheese. Now it was a sloppy mess and ice cold.
