Nice location with modern interior. Menu display with pictures was helpful and it could be simpifed with clear description. Staff was friendly. It would be helpful to explain the ordering details, ie. Sauce amount, for the first time customer. Meal presentation was colorful and various selection of vegetables. Beef was a bit tough and shrimp tempura was mediocre for the price charged.

If you like sushi, this is not a great place to go. I was very hungry so I ate it, but I won't see myself coming back. Also, got 2/3 items I've ordered... The cashier probably didn't hear what I was saying as it was wrong on the check too... My bad for leaving without checking my bag.

What a great idea. Take a place that was great in the mall and make a standalone restaurant out of it. I love Ego. Yummy food, great value and good service. We often come for a quick meal when we don't want to do anything too fancy.

I'm pretty sure this is my first ever review and the only reason I'm posting it is because I was so appalled by this restraunt's food quality I feel like they stole from me by having these fake reviews up that give them close to 5 stars when it should be closer to 1.

These rating are absolute lies and fakes. I ordered from Uber Eats and it was quite literally the worst sushi I've had in my life. If you've ever had the misfortune of eating gas station sushi or grocery store sushi that's a day old then you'll get the picture. I also had the teriyaki chicken and it was a sloppy mushy bland and tasteless mess.

Their 4.8 score on Uber is an absolute lie and their score here is...

We tried Edo Japan for the first time tonight. Nice and clean place. Very friendly and kind staff serving good food. We had tasty Beef Teriyaki, the rice was perfectly cooked, the sauce delicious and the amount exactly right. It all came in carton dishes with wooden chopsticks - so no one-way plastic wasted - well done Edo Japan. We will be back.

Edit after 11 month: Second time here today. With disappointment. I asked for dine in, but got served with single use plastic container. Mehhh. The tempura was tiny, gyoza cold. Maybe my memory faded, but I thought my first experience was way better the first time...

The portions are not big, not very small. The amount of meat is rather small (we ordered the chicken teriyaki). I added edamame for an extra $1.60 and got a tiny bit. However I'm grateful they accommodated the request. The one bowl came to close to $16. The food, which is supposed to be freshly made, was like warm. It wasn't hot. So I worried if the meat had been previously cooked and kept in a safe temperature? They charged me $ 0.25 for an empty cup. I paid the $16 happily but as a paying guest, i don't like being charged for a disposable paper cup. The Filipina lady at the cash register...
