It all seemed very disorganized. I would never recommend this place for dine in due to the particulars of the third party food service notifications ringing every so often, (I have to add that there is no ambiance music, so there was no buffering of any sort in relation to conversations or just the natural restaurants noise of the place ), and it seemed like they were not staffed adequately after noticing that's the person who greeted us was wearing an apron that had food particles on it . I appreciate a small mom and pop or a family business, but it can't affect your customers. The food in particular wasn't exactly something I would write home about but it was okay. I had the lamb done in a" robust and aromatic sauce". The sauce was great but the lamb that was supposed to be braised was very tough and inedible which is a shame. I got it swapped out for chicken which was much better. My boyfriend got the butter chicken and he wasn't thrilled. It is a relatively simple dish, but there have been some delicious butter chicken dishes that we've experienced, and this just wasn't one of them.
When we received our bill the lamb was still on it. I politely ask her why and reminded her that I had chicken and she was completely fine with the swap out. That is something that a manager or business owner should already do and should never have to be requested by the guest as it puts us in an awkward situation.
I wish them the best of luck, but we know there are far better Indian establishments and will most likely not return.
I would suggest their paneer stuffed and bread. That was...

My wife and I felt like having some Indian appies and I had a biryani craving so we decided to order food from this local restaurant (support local?). Delivered on time by Doordash and I gave them a good review (my bad) since I had heard good reviews of their food. Before I dive into our experience, I was born and raised in Bombay (will NEVER call it Mumbai..sorry) and have been accused of being an excellent cook. Yes, Biryani is one of my strong suits and can whip a fabulous one in no time at all. Hence not a novice nor a newbie . So here's what I found.. The Onion pakoras were undercooked and had the unpleasant taste of raw dough. Potato Vadas - well seasoned and good. 4/10 Samosas - not bad - 6/10 Now the absolute disaster - Goat Biryani! Why? Why would anyone serve something so tasteless and far flung from a biryani - Call it whatever! A Biryani is a layered rice meal - one layer has meat cooked in spices etc. There are many variations of this hugely popular meal. This disaster was anything but one of those variants. A gooey mess with onions, peppers and barely cooked goat meat slopped in rice that had been clearly drowned in a gravy/sauce/base to give it an "Indian" flavour. My rating -10 / 10 Any self respecting cook would refrain from presenting such an absolute apology for a biryani! If the owner wishes to get a simple recipe, I'd be happy to oblige. Incidentally, the addition of Kiwi to your meat will tenderize the meat to perfection - so no excuse for tough meat! Sad to see a local restaurant...
Read moreDude whats wrong with this restuarant!! I ordered a lunch thali.. and it was literally nothing in it for $16 charge! Except one table spoon of curry & dal and few paneer cubes and a small cup of rice there was literally nothing in it. Instead of spending this $16 on this empty thali I could have gone to a subway .. I am walking away from a restuarant for the first time in my life with a half filled stomach and never going to return to this place. There are umpteen number of other Indian resturants in the town serving decent thalis within $15 and atleast with better taste and quality. The curry was full of water (aloo matar ) , dal was nothing but a broth of tumeric water and the rice served was stale which seemed to be the left over one from previous day
And finally an awful and disgusting customer service! When I asked the serving guy , "why the served food was low in quality and quantity for the given outstanding price ? " his response was like " go and eat at some other place or go to India if you want more quantity for this given price !! ".Its appalling to see mumbai masala restuarant management keeping such unprofessional staff with no basic sense or etiquette while speaking to customers .Such unprofessional behaviour is welcoming even more bad reputation to the restuarant and a disgrace . I would have given atleast some decent rating ,if the reception guy had acknowledged the customer in a professional way.But I give 0 overall rating to...
