Called and ordered a chicken teriyaki, avacado roll and yam roll. Picked up in 15 minutes. Total was 35 dollars. kind of shocked @ price, but yolo. Went to washroom, in the meantime my buddy asked for some spicy majo to go along with his order - 25 dollars of food, from The owner (working the till) the man said it would be 50 cents, and my friend said he didn't know he had to pay for sauce when we had already purchased our food. The owner viewed it as negotiating and imediatley became upset and said he would not sell him sauce out of lack of respect. At this point I came back from the washroom and noticed my friend was upset, and I asked why was wrong, and he told me the owner won't give him and spicy mayo. I asked for spicy mayo for myself and the owner said he had it, but would not sell it to me. I asked what I did to offend him? And he simply replied " not for sale for u". We brought this clown the easiest business he got all day, made 60 dollars, didn't have to clean a table, I even tipped him. The lack of respect was appalling. I imagine that who ever must work with this guy is always walking on eggshells and I would definitely not eat here again due to...

This restaurant had many mixed reviews, but I decided to give them a try as we were close to it during dinner time. Located in the Park and Tilford strip mall where the Save On Foods is. They currently only do take out orders. I placed my order on the phone beforehand and only waited 20 minutes.

We got an order of prawn tempura, roll combo and sushi day combo. The roll combo came with a dynamite roll, California roll and spicy tuna roll. The sushi day combo came with a dynamite roll, alaskan roll and a California roll.

All in all, they have decent portion sizes. But the quality is very similar to other generic Vancouver sushi joints. That being said, their prices were slightly high given what they’re serving.

The sushi was done well. The tempura in the rolls were still crispy when we got home, and the fillings were generous. The prawn tempura was crunchy on the outside and the prawn still retained a good bite.

Overall, I was skeptical beforehand, but it turned out alright. The restaurant itself was a bit small, but had some decor. One thing I did notice when I went in, was the floor being...

Nothing special. The menu looks better in the photos. The of rice to fish is about 80-20 in favor to the rice and tons of sauce. If your into that sort of thing than you may enjoy the items. I had to look for the fish in the crunch roll. It was loaded with that imitation crab stuff instead of the wild salmon and tuna.

The service...zero stars for service. We had to ask for water, as well as the refills.

There was no asking of how the food was or anything of the sort.

But... What really bothered me was when my boyfriend asked for alternative utensils, he was given a PLASTIC fork. Like, are you for real??? It's such an insult considering we're both adults.

There were no highlights.

Also, there are no hours of operation on their door. It says that they open at 11:00 but the closing time is ??.00 Needless to say, we were rushed to pay, and then rushed out. No thank you for visiting, or anything. Definitely will not be returning.

The environment is cozy enough, but when the owners are wheeling out garbage through the front while you're eating, it goes from...

Service should be a zero. The time we ate here there were only two people I guess they were double booking. Both were cooking and waitressing at the same time. They forgot to bring our drinks. To get a refill for tea we waited 15mins. The guy almost spilled boiling hot tea on her. The incompetence. Don't order the full spicy salmon sashimi... The serving looked more like a half. I would like to see the difference between the half and full serving. Food was borderline ok... The tempura felt it was like microwaved and dropped in oil just to make it seem it was fried. The ramen looked like packaged noodles that you buy from superstore then they put all the ingredients to look like ramen. One lousy spring roll 😂 they should serve that as a kid's meal not a bento box. Probably the first and last time we'll come here.

Had the Salmon and Tuna Chirashi, which was reasonably priced at $16.95. While the sashimi was more thinly sliced than at other establishments, it came with 4 of each fish, as well as some tamago and avocado slices. Was a filling enough portion for dinner and came with a generous bowl of miso soup (double in size from what I usually get at other Japanese restaurants!). We found the Chicken Yakisoba to have a good portion of battered chicken, but it was too saucy for our liking. It was quite liquid-y and thinner than what we're used to. The California Roll was good, it came with lots of imitation crab meat in the ratio to cucumber/avocado. Service was fairly prompt and food came out in a timely manner. Would return if in the area!
