If you’re looking for an exceptional Japanese dining experience in North Vancouver, Sushi Jordan is one of the best choices you can make. This restaurant stands out not only for the quality of its food but also for its inviting ambiance, professional service, and diverse menu that sets it apart from many competitors. Ambiance and Atmosphere From the moment you step inside, the restaurant’s warm and serene atmosphere immediately captures your attention. The minimalist yet stylish décor, combined with soft lighting and modern furnishings, creates a perfect balance between authenticity and comfort. Whether you’re here for a casual meal with friends, a business meeting, or simply to enjoy some quality sushi on your own, the setting enhances the overall dining experience. Service and Hospitality The staff at Sushi Jordan are incredibly professional, polite, and attentive. From the moment you walk in until you leave, you feel genuinely welcomed and well taken care of. They take the time to explain the menu, offer recommendations, and ensure that your experience is enjoyable. The service is prompt, yet never rushed, allowing you to fully savor your meal. The Food – A Culinary Delight Now, let’s talk about the highlight of the experience: the food. I ordered the Yuki Udon Beef, and it was nothing short of amazing. The broth was rich and flavorful, with a perfect balance of umami and warmth. The beef was tender and juicy, complementing the perfectly cooked udon noodles. Every bite was a comforting and satisfying delight, making it one of the best udon dishes I’ve had in Vancouver. Aside from the udon, Sushi Jordan also offers an impressive selection of sushi, sashimi, and other Japanese delicacies. The freshness of the ingredients is evident in every dish, and the presentation is as beautiful as it is appetizing. Final Thoughts Sushi Jordan is a must-visit for any Japanese food lover in North Vancouver. The combination of high-quality food, impeccable service, and a cozy atmosphere makes it a standout dining destination. Whether you’re a sushi enthusiast or simply looking for a comforting bowl of udon, this place will not disappoint.

If I could give this place 0 I would. I'm extremely upset with this neighbourhood sushi place. I ordered the Aburi Sushi priced at $13.99 described under the "Exotic Rolls" and described as: Sockeye salmon, cream cheese, spicy mayo sauce, jalapeno on top. This was a take out order and when I got home and opened the container it looked ok from the top, but once I started eating ....all I could taste was mushi rice...that's it! Just mushi rice. So, I carefully looked at the rolls and noticed that it was 99% mushi tasteless rice with not even a slither of .01% of sockeye salmon and .01% of cream cheese. A complete rip off! I was looking at their website before I went in to order my take out and it looked fine and in the description I thought I was getting SOCKEY SALMON AND CREAM CHEESE, but all I got was MUSHY RICE. Even though I didn't want to pay 16$ after tax for just one roll of sushi, I thought well with the ingredients described I'll spend the extra bucks, but that is not what I received. THE DESCRIPTION AND IMAGE OF THE ROLL IS NOT WHAT IS PREPARED. This is extra upsetting because we are not talking about the quality of the food itself but rather the intended cheapness of the establishment, just so they can save a few bucks at the customer's expense, and you can't help but feel robbed! Also, the Miso soup was way too concentrated and the level of sodium was out the roof as you can see from the image. When I walked in I wondered why they are so empty at dinner rush, and specially considering the good reviews, I was puzzled....now I know why! Never going back!

Solid 4.5 but I don’t want to give it a 5. I came today for my birthday lunch today and the food was great, service was only ok though. The thing that kinda bugged me is I wanted the dish that was pictured in their menu. I pointed it out and asked what dish was in the photo and was told it was the spicy Korean Ramen. Which was odd because to me it looked more like Tonkotsu (I think but that is not on the menu. Maybe the Chicken Ramen?). Anyway I took the advice and the dish I got wasn’t what I was pointing at. In fact, it wasn't even close. I didn't complain because, well sometimes you just cant be bothered. Especially when the restaurant is dead and nobody can be nothered to ask how your meal is. I find it odd that the waitress doesn’t know the menu. Really doesn't know the menu. The Spicy Korean that was recommended has a red broth, no boiled eg, no sliced protein and thin noodles. The other stand out thing was that other tables had their tea refilled but we had to ask having had our table looked at briefly by a server, our empty dishes ignored. They weren’t busy, sometimes that makes the difference. Anyway the last item is that the lunch boxes are meant to split but the menu doesn’t say that it feeds two, my wife ended up with way too much food. Anyway overall good value for the money, just rough around the edges. Not often I stray from a 5, sorry guys gotta step it up a bit.

Dropped A LOT of money in this restaurant over the past 2 years, eating here 3 times per week or more. However not long ago I went here and was embarrassed on a date by the way Jordan handled an issue with the food. It was I who recommended to my date that we go here and it was her first time trying some sushi items; important to help her get a good impression. Something was not right and I asked for it to be fixed and Jordan interrupted the waitress and waved it all off without coming over to speak to me about it himself. Hachi Hana is far better and I will be taking my loyal business there, permanently. Losing many thousands of dollars of business over something that would cost you 2 bucks to fix, is an asinine decision.

Your new tea tastes like cardboard. this was not the place to save money. Tea and sushi go together. unfortunately what would be 5 stars for food, is destroyed by the absolutely crappy tea you changed to. This was not the place to decide to save money.

Ambiance leaves something to be desired. Most of the time, the restaurant is FAR too bright to be comfortable. And fix the stupidly annoying HVAC system clunking away in the ceiling.

Staff are often too busy running around prepping takeout orders to notice you need something when sitting in the restaurant. Staff should be prioritizing sit-down customers inside your restaurant rather than having attention diverted to takeout or delivery orders. Fix this. Make sure someone is watching the tables and responds near instantly to someone who's trying to make eye contact with the wait staff. This is fast way to get much better tips for your staff members.

The way things are setup in the bathroom means there is water absolutely everywhere all over the sink countertops when someone is finished using the bathrooms. Nearly every time I would spend time cleaning up after the person who was in there before me. This is not a staff problem as they shouldn't be attending the bathroom after every user, but a design problem chosen by the owner when building their restaurant. If you have to put a squeegee in the bathroom for your counter tops, you've done it wrong.

All of this is very disappointing because I quite enjoy the food and the staff and sushi chefs are very delightful and pleasant and seem to put a lot of care into the dishes they plate and send to tables. Unfortunately if your owner is going to embarrass you or barely acknowledge you after the insane amount of patronage you've given a business. That's all I need to stop going...

I have been supporting Jordan's since they opened and especially during this lousy pandemic. Some early problems I encountered were small things like a microscopic amount of wasabi, no soy sauce and more than once no chopsticks with the order.

Recently I noticed a change in their chicken and had to stop ordering my favorite teriyaki chicken over rice. I moved over to house salad and an order of spicy tuna sashimi 16.95 per order. My wife orders usually rolls but more recently started eating the same after having a bad experience with their chicken salad...again the chicken being the problem for her too.

The last straw for us was when instead of sending us two orders of Tuna Sashimi like they usually do they send us one slightly larger single order and charged us for two. Ok ok ...no problem, we will just put a special instruction in the notes and problem solved. Nope, this time they sent us two individual orders like asked but charged us $4.95 for the special request. On top of this the tuna was bad to the point of inedible.

I don't normally write this type of review and always leave a short message 3 or 4 stars so maybe they will improve but not this time. I am not sure what has changed at Jordan's but they need to take a look at it. I am not sure if they are able to track their customers through door dash as someone that orders food at least 10 times a month and more often than not will choose Jordan's.

When you look at the pricing they have positioned themselves at mid-high pricing so there are plenty of other fantastic options locally for Japanese like Yuko Maki or even Mr. Sushi just to mention two. If you can't track your loyal frequent customers and treat them accordingly then you need to look at that...
