I was on the hunt for a different Vietnamese restaurant after having an unpleasant experience at a different restaurant, so my friend and I decided to order takeout from here, what a great find!

Again, we ordered takeout, so I can only speak to that aspect at this time, and not the atmosphere, service or dine-in experience. Food presentation was great, all items were separated (e.g. noodles for soup, veggies and garnish were all in separate containers, so they didn’t keep cooking or get mushy en route home). We shared Chicken and Chicken Ball Soup and added veggies, Grilled Chicken with Vermicelli and Spring Rolls, as well as Shrimp Salad Rolls. Salad rolls come with two, but were cut into four, which made sharing easy. Shrimp was fresh, had nice flavor, lettuce was clean and crisp. The peanut sauce had a very mild peanut flavor compared to others, it’s good, but I wish it had a touch more flavor. The grilled chicken with vermicelli was exactly what I’d hoped for from this dish since it’s a favorite; it was refreshing to the palate, had fresh ingredients, wasn’t greasy, and the house made fish sauce elevated it. I’d recommend getting the combo that comes with a Prawn Skewer, it’s similar in price, but takes the meal up a notch. Spring rolls were good; however, I wish they were veggie instead of pork, but that’s a personal preference. Had I realized they were pork, I could’ve asked if they’d swap for veggie. They give generous soup portions, making it another shareable dish. The broth had nice flavor, while not being overly salty, and there was generous amount of chicken.

For the price we paid and the quality, quantity and presentation of the food we received, we were very pleased. I’ll definitely order here again, and recommend...

I was excited to try this place. I was under the weather for a few days and figured that a bowl of pho would have been a really good remedy.

I ordered the chicken and rare beef. The server or owner asked me chicken or beef which I thought was weird and then in a rude manner she said the broth. I didn't realize that there was a selection between chicken or beef but I chose chicken.

When the food arrived, I was shocked to see an appalling amount of chicken and beef. Both cooked very well done. The protein that's I'm holding with the chopsticks and one of the photos is literally all of the meat that came with the pho. Really absurd!

Then, when I went to reach for the hoisin, i realized that all the contents on the bottom were fermented. Gross.

As you can tell by the photos, those bubbles is fermentation, which means that they've just been adding fresh product on top of old product. This alone shows unsanitary food practices, and can get someone very sick.🤢

(The owner replied with the fermentation being because of a main ingredient. Yes it is the main ingredients but this photo shows poor food safe handling, by pouring new product on top of old.) Just own it. 😒

Safe to say I lost my appetite. I did however take a few sips of the broth. Extremely salty. An overall dissatisfying experience and I will not be returning.

Still on the hunt to find a...

I’ve been coming here for years. Food is always good. However today I was overcharged for my food and the woman at the till kept trying to say it was the right price. Be very careful with your bills. My sandwich was 9.99 on the menu, she charged me 11.50 plus tax. I ordered a cup of broth for $2.50 and she charged me $3.50. When I asked for a receipt she said no. She took a photo with my phone of the computer. She also said because I had to rush back to work at the hospital I would be charged 50 cents for take out containers. Even if this 50 cents was added on, it still doesn’t add up the cost she charged me. When I mentioned it she gave more excuses. I don’t think I will be back after this. You lost a long time customer.

Definitely losing more than one customer with that response. You think I played on my phone and didn’t eat when I was actually called to return to see a patient urgently. Myself and the other emergency staff members will not be returning to such a rude establishment who doesn’t understand hospital work. Also that was my first break in 8.5 hrs and I work 12. So thank you for showing your...

Do not eat here if you're coming for pho. Everything is pretty sub par, yet they will still charge you Vancouver prices for it. The broth is not terribly flavorful, the portions are small, and the spring rolls look like they came out of 7-11. Edit* tried their Bahn mi sandwiches, had two pieces of hard cilantro stems in it you wouldn’t want to eat, pretty sub par. Gave them another chance after 3 yrs but guess it’s same old. Be weary of this place, there is a reason why they lure people in with the whole "free spring roll/pop" deal. There's another pho place down the street on Lonsdale that is pretty bomber, I suggest walking the extra 5 mins to go there instead.
