the burritoz fresh mexican grill (BFMG) is situated in the royal windsor/ford drive plaza. BG has plenty of competition in the plaza and across the street for the food dollar, yet imo is well positioned to stick around for a long time.

their main offerings are burritos, quesadillas, nachos and tacos. since i only order burritos, i will not comment on the other items. however i would encourage you to try them out if you wish, and draw your own conclusion.

positives: -good hours for a food store. not a 24/7 operation but are open 7 days a week: monday thru friday 10am till 1030pm, affording you plenty of chances to catch a burrito. saturdays are open till 9pm and sunday they close at 7pm.

-tremendous value for your wallet. at the time of this review, a large burrito all-in goes for under $10. the burritos are very filling. this place could probably charge an extra dollar on top of what they currently charge, and it would still be an excellent value for your purchase.

-everyday, a different burrito is featured as the deal of the day. you can upsize to a large for $1 extra (plus tax)

-staff in my visits have consistently been polite, friendly, hard working and willing to make your order a pleasant food experience. 💯

-store has been consistently clean and in good order during my visits.

-ingredients are clean, fresh and portions very fair, if not generous.

negatives: -nothing to complain about. 😁 -only suggestion would be phone in your order if you are tight for time and know exactly what you want. the store does accept phone-in requests.

BFMG continues to provide exceptional value for your wallet. $10.72 all-in for a large (special of the day) burrito, that will leave you satisfied.

We just left that restaurant, and I can't shake off the disappointment I feel about the experience. The young woman working there was incredibly kind and attentive, which made it all the more difficult for me to express my dissatisfaction with the food. Unfortunately, I had to politely inform her that the meal was inedible and I would like a refund.

My son, wanting to spare her feelings, hesitated to say anything, even though he had already stopped eating his burrito after discovering a long hair intertwined with the food. It was such an unpleasant surprise that he lost his appetite completely. As for my daughters, they shared similar sentiments; their meals were entirely inedible.

The overall quality of the food was abysmal. There was a distinct lack of flavor, making every bite feel like a chore rather than a pleasure. The vegetables seemed far from fresh, with the tomatoes in particular appearing aged and unappetizing.

Additionally, the ambiance of the restaurant left much to be desired. The decor felt outdated and unkempt, creating an overall atmosphere that was neither inviting nor comfortable. Disgusting. Went in for a burrito at lunch and had a customer in front of me. The worker dropped the spatula after lifting the customers burrito from the panini press and put the spatula back on the counter. I then ordered, and when it came time to lift my burrito, HE TRIED TO US THE SAME SPATULA. I stopped him and asked him to clean it and he pretended to not know what I was talking about. After serval request for him to clean it, he merely ran it under water. No soap, nothing. Middle of a pandemic and you won't even follow basic hygiene protocols. Shame I used to love this place and be by whenever I was in the area. Will never return now
