Food is good! Service is good!

Only on thing, the washroom need to be improved, cause there are two washrooms in total and all genders use.

It is near to Ice Rink, so many parents brought kids to eat together. My daughter had bad experience with sexism when she was using washroom.

Three boys are older than her saw that she got into the washroom. Then, those boys played locker to make sound just when she got in. She came back to check the locker, opened the door to looked at those boys and asked them to stop. Unfortunately those boys did not listen and did again when she closed the door. Then, she had to left the washroom, came to the front desk to tell the staff and ask my help.

I brought her back to washroom, and boys told me that she just came out from the washroom and one of their teammates is in the washroom now. They have to go washroom first because they have hockey game very soon. (Just worry about that if future hockey players like this behavior, what the sport world will be?)

Peter, we have been customer's of your restaurant for a few years now. Our experience on June 8, 2024, was troubling to say the least. We came in around 1pm to cranked up country music and unengaged staff. We sat ourselves down and waited for our waitress, who, as of recent, is sporting big, bushy black eyelashes that concern me, to the extent of those synthetic lashes falling into my food. We made eye contact with her a few times but there was no interaction or acknowledgement on her part. My partner actually had to get up to get the attention of your staff. Ironically, after the meal was served, the coffee top off keep missing us, despite lifting up our cups. The attitude of indifference was very obvious.

Having spent much time in the southern US, I've seen this attitude all too often. I understand that your waitress may have a small town attitude that works well where she is from, but come on, this is the GTA. We are paying customers that tip well on every visit. 🍳🥞☕First time at Sunlight Grill and have found a new great breakfast and lunch spot.

Had the feta & spinach omelette, was cooked to perfection, my husband had peameal bacon and eggs. His peameal was cooked perfectly.👌. The bread options are great. The multigrain bread 🍞 is delicious. The home fries are homemade and perfectly cooked and seasoned. They have a frozen homes fries option but the homemade home fries are definitely the best. The ☕ is very good it's a nice blend. They leave the peanut butter and jam caddy on table you don't have to ask for it.

This is a family run business and they treat you like family the moment you walk in the door. It's a very friendly atmosphere.
