Let me start off by saying - this is NOT a good review, this is in fact a VERY BAD review, the only redeeming thing was the butter chicken. I haven't written a review in a while and this meal was in fact so bad, I decided to write a review about it. So, I had family over for the long weekend and we decided to get some Pakistani food. Everyone is getting hungry, it is about 7:30pm when we decide to place the order (most restaurant's dinner rush is usually 6pm). I had ordered 3x Beef Seekh Kabab, chicken seekh kabab, channa masala, butter chicken, 2 garlic naan, 2 butter naan, chicken biryani (boneless). The email came confirming that the order was placed and it said to come pick up the food in 45 mins. So after 30 mins, I decide to go to pick up the food. I head into the restaurant after 50 mins of the order being placed and the food is not ready yet, they ask me to wait 15 mins because they are still making something. I decide to go across the street to get pizza while I'm waiting because at this point I'm getting very hungry and have to wait 15 extra mins. After 20 mins, I return to the restaurant and I am then told to wait another 5 mins which in fact turned out to be 15 mins. Fine, I've already spent $180. I have to wait an extra half an hour for my food, whatever, it's annoying but at least we'll have fresh, hot food when we get home. WRONG. I open the beef seekh kabab when I get home and to my surprise, it was so COLD - it was like it just came out of the fridge and on top of that, it was shriveled up meaning that it was probably sitting out for a long period of time. I don't eat chicken seekh kabab but my mom went to take a bite of it and she had told me that it smelled like the meat had gone bad. I tried the chicken biryani and it might have been one of the worst I have ever had - it had little to no flavor. $180 I just wasted on this food and the only good thing was the butter chicken and channa masala???? I had 10 disappointed people at my house. NEVER AGAIN. NOT ONLY DID IT TAKE 1.5 HOURS TO GET THIS FOOD, THE...

So I took more of my family there for iftar. I asked them in advance if we could do Alacarte since it was my invitation, and i didn't want it to be too heavy on my pocket. First, they gave me a run around on the phone. The manager said she can't do any discounts, no catering, no nothing, but they will let us order alacarte. I was like ok thanks. Comes the day of iftar we all went there. They began with serving us the biryani (yes, forget water or dates), i had asked for one spicy and one regular biryani... .....guess what !!!! both were spicy, and there was no spoon to take it out in plates. I paid for extra gravy in karahi, and yes, there was no extra gravy served. Oh, and they brought more food but didn't give us the plates to start eating. We were fasting. i had to ask them twice for water, and then there were no glasses. I kept asking the same person who would not respond to me at all. No yes or no answers he looked like he wanted to quit. I understand they were busy with the buffet, but does that mean destroy other clients IFTAR? I now wish I had taken my family somewhere else. Not to mention we were eight people, it wasn't a small table. So disappointing... and it was embarrassing in front of my guests
I love this place. The food is amazing they make the best biryani, and their beef peshawri is a must try. Everything is delicious. I always take tea after the food since there is no better way to end an authentic Pakistani meal
Their staff is so friendly and attentive. You should try this place...

We recently dined at Café de Khan in Oakville and were thoroughly impressed with both the food and the overall experience. This cozy spot delivers on authentic Pakistani flavors with a modern twist, and everything we ordered hit the mark.
We started with the Chicken Karahi, which was rich, aromatic, and cooked to perfection. The spices were beautifully balanced, and the chicken was incredibly tender â a clear standout. Paired with their assorted naans (especially the garlic and butter varieties), it was the kind of dish you keep going back to long after youâre full.
The Bihari Kabab was another highlight â juicy, smoky, and packed with flavor. It had just the right amount of heat and that classic Bihari-style tenderness that shows real attention to marinade and grilling.
The Chicken Tikka Platter was generous and well-executed. The tikka was chargrilled with precision, offering a nice mix of crispy edges and soft, flavorful meat. Itâs perfect for sharing and comes with just the right accompaniments.
We finished with Gulab Jamun, and it was the perfect sweet ending â warm, soft, and soaking in just the right amount of syrup. Not overly sweet, just indulgent enough.
Service was friendly and attentive, and the ambiance was warm, clean, and welcoming. Whether youâre a longtime fan of South Asian cuisine or trying it for the first time, CafĂ© de Khan offers a well-curated menu with dishes that feel both traditional and elevated.
Highly recommended! Weâll...
