Lazeez Shawarma — Restaurant in Oakville

First off, I got to give a shout-out to my boy Bobby, aka Nutboy, for recommending this place. Bro keeps yapping to me about shwarma so when I pressed him saying I need to try "real" shwarma, he said "mans know we got to pull up at zeez for the one time." (Whatever that means) So we pulled up after class and we were going to bring our boy Welly with us, but he was playing possum, and didnt pull up. Anyway, we got to the store, and Bobby was saying I needed to have "shwarma on the sticks" I was a wrap kinda guy, so I was telling him I was going to get that, but he told me that "only true sauga mans get shwarma on the sticks" I proceeded to tell him that I was not from Missasauga, but then we entered the building. We spoke to the owner of the place, and he was friendly with us. Bobby told him that this was my first time at the place, and he said that I would like the food and also recommended shwarma on the sticks so I just got that. So we ended up ordering the food, and I was pleasantly surprised with the amount and quality I received. The owner checked up on the guests and us to see if everything was good, which I respect. We ordered 2 chicken on the sticks and one chicken on the rocks. We specifically mentioned NO SAUCE ! on the chicken on the sticks. My son doesn’t like sauce so we did not select any sauce for his meal. We also ordered 3 ginger ales. When we got our delivery all 3 dinners were drenched in garlic sauce (OVERLOAD OF GARLIC SAUCE) and we got 3 sprites and no ginger ale . We called the restaurant to mention that one meal was supposed to have no sauce and the kid who answered the phone couldn’t find the order at first. We read over our Uber receipt and when he finally found our order he just said ‘’sorry about that’’. I said that my son won’t eat any of this. He just said sorry can’t do anything for you. He said “if you want you can come tomorrow to make the correct one tomorrow”. I said no my son is still hungry and he can’t eat this now. I had to figure out something else for my son to eat. My boyfriend and I ate our meals which were totally drowning in garlic sauce! We ended up throwing out most of it . We wasted $60 with no attempt or effort from the restaurant to fix any of these issues. What a total disappointment. Horrible...

Lazeez Shawarma at Trafalgar has always been one of my favorite spots to grab a meal, and every time I visit, the food never disappoints. The flavors are fresh, the portions are generous, and the quality is always consistent. But what truly made my recent experience stand out were the two amazing employees, Aman and Mehak.

From the moment I walked in, both of them greeted me with bright smiles and an energy that instantly made me feel welcome. Their hospitality was genuine, and you could tell they truly enjoy making customers feel comfortable. Aman and Mehak went out of their way to ensure my order was perfect, checking in with me and making sure everything was up to Lazeez’s high standards.

It’s rare these days to find employees who not only do their job but also go the extra mile with kindness and positivity. They managed to bring a personal touch to the experience that made the meal even more enjoyable.
