Yesterday I went out to check out this Peruvian place with my family. We called in to see if they have table on the patio and booked it. Once we arrived 25 min later, the table promised was not available. Unfortunately, the trouble only started piling like a snowball from there. We ordered food and waited for an appetizer for 45 minutes (it was delicious tho)! On top of that they forgot that we ordered soup. It never came. For the drinks we asked different servers three times after they brought it. 5 minutes later, only one out of four main course dishes arrived. And they forgot to switch from mash potato to roasted potato š¤¦āāļø The rest of the family were sitting hungrily watching one person eat. It was nerve-breaking. We asked when the rest of the meals will be ready, just heard āsoonā. I decided to order some empanadas cause we were starving so I asked the server if they are ready (saw them on the tray) and no prep needed. She answered yes and told me that they have only chicken. Fine, right now anything will go. 15 min later - nothing. My husband went in to cancel order because there was not point in waiting, we were getting hungry and frustrated. When at the same time servers were bringing food to another table all the time and one more table was served in front of us. 2 min after another server came to the table telling that the food will be soon. Another 5 min and we see the owner assuring us about the same. At that point it was close to 1.5 hour wait. It's unforgiving. Such a long wait, prices on the higher side, zero services (yes, they are friendly but forgetting special requests and not bringing you what you ordered even if it's juice). My opinion, the tremendous delicious food doesn't compensate for 1.5 hours of wasted time for everyone to get hungry and leave empty-handed. I hope management sees the reviews and will make some adjustments. Maybe two people on Saturday midday is not enough, or perhaps they need a more time-oriented cook. No family weekend outing shouldn't be...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreOur group went in on a Thursday night for supper. Javier was our server and was very hospitable and took great care of our group. We really felt like we were in someone's home.
Everything that we ordered was extremely delicious. We started with the Calamari del casa, the fried calamari was perfectly tender and the pickled onions that garnished the plate complimented the battered squid perfectly.
For my main, I ordered the Peruvian fish, and it was amazing! The portion was very large, and the fish was smothered in a beautifully aromatic sauce. I was angry I had to offer the rest of the table bites of my meal because I did not want to share.
I would highly recommend Casa Mia to anyone who wants food like it was cooked by a Tia (auntie in Spanish), because it is! Javier's wife, who was the chef, came out after our meal and thanked us for our business.
Amazing experience! Will come back on a warmer day to try and experience their patio! Thank you for our...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreIf you are hungry please donāt come here!We waited 1.5 hours to get 3 meals. We had to watch other tables that came 30 minutes after we did get food before us. I think that was because they were locals and of course have a Peruvian accent and got special treatment unacceptable. I had to cancel my order, I spoke with the owner and told him that we waited 1.5 hours for 3 meals of the 7 we ordered I wished him luck and blessed him, paid for the plates we got and head out with 4 family members that had an unforgettable painful afternoon on how you watch others at your table eat while they starve and how other table that got there after us were served. The waitress was friendly the owner was friendly but the way they run the food is beyond irrational. Take your time to review all bad reviews donāt make my mistake and fall for reading only the 5 stars there is a consistency on the...
