Pretty busy place and they don't take reservations, so go early if you have a large group. Appys were okay, some of the dishes were over salted but overall okay. Lots of folks sitting on benches enjoying the sun. There were fishermen at the opposite side of the channel fishing from the pier. We did see a big fish jumped out from the water. Couldn't tell what type it was. There is a restaurant and ice cream bar east of the pier. Public boat launching is available near the Bronte Beach Park off West River Street. Lots of parking there too. Caution: Do not park in the lot of the plaza located at the South East corner of Bronte and Lakeshore Road unless you're shopping there. They will tag and tow your vehicle....
