Overall a very mixed experience.. The staff were very kind, but provided little to no instruction.

If you are already experienced/skilled with pottery, this would be a great class. With that being said, I definitely would not recommend this studio to any beginners.

We attended the charcuterie board class (which the instructor told us she had never taught before) and were sat at the table and told to "roll it and cut it". Considering that 2/3 of us had never done pottery before, we were lost to say the least.. It felt very rushed and unguided.

Additionally, the online booking/instructions were very misleading. The photo for the class showed a large charcuterie board, multiple bowls, and a matching cutlery set. In reality, you barely have enough clay to make a small board, and you're allowed to make 1 small bowl on the wheel.

Lastly, we paid a decent amount of extra money to paint and fire our pieces. At the end of the class, we were told that we could rebook online for that in 2 months, which I guess is fair enough considering it needs to dry. However.. we had to take our wet/fresh pieces home and are supposed to bring them back in 2 months.

With the overall cost vs the experience and results.. I do not think we'll be...

Bad experience overall. I paid for 4 people and wasn’t told that my 5 year old won’t be allowed on the wheel so technically they charged me extra despite me asking in the chats if kids can participate. Our instructor Marian was VERY impatient and couldn’t handle the 3 of us. She wouldn’t let me use the wheel and kept implying I’m doing it wrong or putting too much pressure . She kept moving me around to go here and there. It was very stressful. She kept rushing us saying there is another class like in 5 min and we neeed to wrap up even though we got there on time and had to wait for a while for our class to start but we were still being rushed out and in the end the other class people came an HOUR later!! like she was basically lying about it so we could get kicked out. She was overwhelmed and a poor instructor and very impatient. WILL NOT...

A friend and I had an amazing experience on Sunday with instructor Tony. He was so good, patient, funny and friendly.

We were celebrating Galentines day amd thought we would do something different and we saw this on eventbrite and it was worth the money, time and effort.

We made 2 pieces each in one hr of wheel time and then 1 hr on hand crafting. Now waiting to color n glaze...
