Choi’s Sushi — Restaurant in Oakville

Edit: when I went back recently and their takeout menu had changed- they seem to no longer have the 10% off coupon. However their sushi was still very delicious!

Amazing quality sushi and sashimi set (size: small), which was enough for 2 people. This was about $40 ($37.95+tax on the menu). They have a 10% off coupon if you bring in the physical menu with the coupon on the bottom (method of payment doesn’t matter).

I called in about 20-30 mins in advance and it was relatively a fast pick-up arrangement (due to Covid-19). They have parking next to the building (about 3-4 spots). I’ll definitely be going again!

Meanwhile, I usually don’t like sushi other than salmon BUT I enjoyed most to all of the sushi flavour within this tray, due to the quality.

Fresh, tasty, quick, and friendly.

Pros: -Ordering over the phone was simple -Fast preparing of food. Pick-up was easy -Soup was hot and fish was cold and fresh, very tasty and great price for good quality -Vegetarian sushi had a variety of options, 10/10 -Very friendly when picking up

Opportunities: -Better value vegetarian combo ($21 is the only current option, too many pieces for one person and regular 8 rolls too little with no combo).

Recommendations: -If you love salmon, the Salmon Love Set has a great variety of differently prepared salmon ACM roll is fantastic. Love the mango idea

Should you try it? -Absolutely. No questions if you like sushi, you'll love this place.

Will I purchase again? Yes. I will order from here...

I ordered the medium maki party tray through Uber Eats and it was abhorrent. Where to begin... All the rolls were different sizes, with some being half the size of the others; the rolls weren't packed properly so they kept falling apart; lots of filler with cucumbers; an entire row was literally just cucumbers; way too much rice per roll; I can go on and on. If I'm paying $85+ for a sushi tray, I'd expect to get at least an above average experience... Actually, even average would've been fine. But this? This was not even below average -- it was just plain...
