Honestly I really like this place but I have to give them less than 5 stars to hold them accountable for their food quality. Dining in is great, and usually when I’m walking around downtown, they’re one of the only places whose pastries and drinks I like. In terms of unique latte options, being one of the only places around that serves home made bone broth and has the kind of breakfast options for the price; they’ve kind of cornered the market in my opinion. That being said, if you’d like to try the food here, PLEASE DON’T ORDER TAKEOUT/Delivery. I ordered delivery this morning from them like I do for some bone broth, a latte and the avocado toast with scrambled eggs.

I kid you not, everytime I order takeout from here my mind immediately says ā€œI wonder what will go wrong with your order this timeā€. I’ve had hot drinks arrive cold, or not at all, complete parts of orders missing or also ice cold, and today I decided it would be my very last time because my avo toast came slathered with rotten avocado 🄓. Like I’m sorry, when you cut open an avocado and see it brown and stringy you’re just like ā€œyup this is fine šŸ™‚šŸ‘šŸ½ā€?!?!? It was so rancid it straight up Mike Tyson-ed me in the face the second I opened the container. I had to contact Skip, send photos and get a refund (won’t be the first time, but omfg it’ll...

I dont write many reviews but I will for this place. So many things I love about it. The staff I have run into when I am coming into town have been great. The food is SIMPLE AND DELICIOUS. I am sensitive to much of todays modern food and I absolutely love that I can come into here and not feel any sort of anxiety about what they are putting in their food. Its nice to know I can come to a place and enjoy the whole experience of food vs being nervous of what was used to cook the foods and things added to it. The products they have on the shelves are amazing and they bring in some really awesome rare items you cant really find anywhere else. Go to their website and check out some of the awesome brands they carry!

All in All, I love this place. The only issue I have is that there is not more of them. I live in Hamilton and its a treat to drive all the way there for the experience. But I will say, when I do....its...

What a gem of a place to come across! I have dairy and gluten allergies so I was over the moon excited to find this shoppe. We ordered coffees and the veg panini (which they made us on vegan bread) and we got a baked good as well. The brown sugar iced latte wasn’t too sweet which was lovely. But what stood out was the customer service. The two girls behind the counter were incredibly patient (I couldn’t decide what I wanted) and they answered all my questions. These days good customer service is hard to find, and the service we received here will have me coming back. I can’t wait to try more baked goods. Yes they are expensive, but for people who complain about that, they don’t understand how much it costs for gf/dairy free etc base items. Thank you again and see ya whenever I’m in...

I'm visiting from out of town and have been craving a tasty cheese croissant for a while, but being gluten-free means it's not always easy to find. The croissant I had was perfectly gooey and cheesy when warmed up, with a satisfying crunch on the outside. I also picked up the Twix Bar and Hazelnut Rocher. The Twix tasted like an elevated, homemade version of the classic candy bar. They have a stamp card for items at the $9.50/item price point - where you can get the 11th one free! Quite pricey, and underwhelming compared to other comparable GF bakeries. Try it out for sure This place is a gluten-free/celiac's dream because their kitchen is 100% celiac-safe, and they have every treat you could want available without worry.

Underwhelming. Especially for the price at which these meals are priced at. It was a first time visit, and likely the last. We tried a roasted chicken panini, and built a bowl of salmon, walnuts, brown rice and avocados. Firstly, the store was out of tomatoes and cucumbers as ingredients for the salad bowl, I would think crucial items to keep stocked for salads in the spring. Next the walnuts were not crushed, as in the photo. The panini was completely bland, despite choosing to add spicy Chipotle sauce for an extra dollar charge. The roasted chicken was also very dry. All in all, underwhelming. Would not recommend for the price point. The only decent item was the mango smoothie. But again, a bit underwhelming for $12.
