I recently visited a pizzeria in Oakville that claimed to be halal, but my experience left me with doubts and disappointment. When I asked the owner directly about the halal certification, I received evasive answers and noticed that the owner avoided making eye contact, which was concerning.
To further clarify, I asked for the halal certificate and information about their meat supplier. Shockingly, the owner responded that he didn't know who the supplier was. It seemed incredibly odd that the owner couldn't provide basic information about where they sourced their meat and produce. It raised doubts about the authenticity of their halal claim and the overall quality of their ingredients.
Due to the lack of confidence in the halal status and the unsettling response from the owner, I decided to try their panzerotti instead. Unfortunately, it turned out to be a poor choice. The panzerotti was bland, lacking any distinct flavor, and overall tasted unpleasant. It was a disappointing and unsatisfying experience.
I expected more transparency and accountability from a business that claims to provide halal food. The lack of clarity, along with the subpar taste of the panzerotti, left me with a negative impression of this pizzeria. I would not recommend this place to anyone seeking a reliable halal option or a flavorful dining experience.
I would advise caution if you are looking for a halal food option at this particular pizzeria. Based on my experience, the lack of transparency and evasive responses from the owner regarding their halal certification and meat supplier are concerning. It's important to ensure that the halal status of the food you consume is verified and reliable.
In light of the owner's inability to provide clear information and the disappointing taste of the panzerotti I tried, I would recommend exploring other halal food options in the area. It's crucial to prioritize your dietary needs and seek establishments that can provide genuine assurance and high-quality halal food.
I encourage you to do your research, seek recommendations from trusted sources, and visit pizzerias or restaurants that have established credibility and a reputation for serving delicious and authentic...
Read moreGreat take out pizza, one of the best in Oakville and the only one that has beef pepperoni pizza. Usually I have a great experience every time especially when the younger guy is running the restaurant that day. But today the old man was at the front and was so incredibly rude and unbelievably from the phone call to the service in store. Now it’s pickup i the service doesn’t have to be anything special but he was yelling at me from the moment he picked up the phone which is incredibly rude. If my younger brother wasn’t so excited for the pizza I would’ve immediately hung up. He answered yelling acting like I was inconveniencing him by ordering and then I order one large pepperoni pizza and asked for a large half and half with meat lovers and something pesto or had sun dried tomatoes which is my usual order. Instead of telling me that they don’t do half and half he started yelling at me telling me that he can’t do pesto and mix sauces I said okay do you have something else with sun dried tomatoes and he continued to yell at me instead of just saying no we don’t do this so I just ordered a meat lovers. And then when I got there he had a my meat lovers ready but instead of the pepperoni he had a cheese pizza because he had incorrectly written down my order wrong. He then proceeded to yell at me quite rudely as I told him that he was wrong and I was 100% sure that it was one pepperoni and one meat lovers. Then finally I agreed to pay for what I ordered in addition to the cheese since my brother was getting annoyed. Rude unprofessional disgusting behaviour, it’s not my problem that you’re upset with something isn’t nice to treat people in that way. I hope someone can put him in some anger management classes and get his blood pressure under control with all that yelling and shouting. I can’t even say he was respectful hope this can be fixed for the future. The only reason the review is so low is bc of the horrible...
Read moreOrdered a couple of pizzas from here yesterday through SkipTheDishes after reading many glowing reviews. I'll cut to it, theres nothing particularly great about this pizza. The sausage was not good, they were tiny little cubes of meat and very few of them. I didn't enjoy the taste of the sausage but maybe that's just me. The pepperoni was fine but again, not many. Several reviewers commented on the pizza dough, once again, nothing special. Actually, I'd say it's below par. The roasted red peppers were more like pickle red peppers, the roasted garlic was nowhere to be found or tasted.
I like to try the pizza places around because it's pizza, how hard can it be? But the gap between what these reviews are saying and what you're actually getting is suspicious. There are too many good pizza places to waste $30 on this.
Id refer to this pizza as fine. Which is how I'd refer to...
